After all, these are the guys who signed Bozeman after he was an NFL worst level center in 2023 in Carolina...and then stubbornly played him for 2 years when he was a bottom level NFL center,
A worthy consideration CBF, and you always have them, but it doesn’t shake my confidence.

I’ll even go as far as to say, If Bozeman returns as the starting Center (which I think is a probability of zero) I will conclude McDaniel knows how to use him and greatly improve his effectiveness and I’ll be fine with that.

Don't bother even thinking about Bozeman.
Just stop typing posts here about it and anything else and have full confidence in the FO.

Sorry Jack. I was trying to spare you some needless hair loss.

River there is no scenario I can handle Bozeman back as our starting center. I mean enough is enough.

But I do think center will be properly addressed. I am sure they get it. Plus Bozeman is a terrible fit for a MM offense. Aside from UFA, there are multiple center options in the draft.

Weren’t you just opining about the GMs poor offensive free agents thus far? Meh. Don’t bother even thinking about it. Don’t worry. Be happy.

I'd have zero problem with that pretense if Dissly didn't come w/a cap hit of 5.5 mil!

Moving on saves us $4mil. "Big meh" tight ends can be found for 1-2 mil.

The TE that the Chargers need opposite Gadsden will probably cost over $2m unless it is a draft pick
Dissly for $4m isn't terrible but I think they can use that money better

Can we just all agree that Bozeman is a name that henceforth should not be uttered?

Not only does he suck. Not only does he not fit the new scheme...but his cap hit would be $7 mil next season!

The NFL is projecting the salary cap to increase from $279.2 million in 2025 to more than $300 million in 2026.

The exact range is said to be $301.2 million to $305.7 million per club. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero notes that this is nearly $100 million more than the $208.2 million salary cap in 2022. The exact number will be finalized before free agency begins on March 11th.

Let's just remember that all teams experience the same increase in free cap space.

Doesn't really help us at all. The added cap space is cancelled out by salary inflation.
