This is the part the NFL year I hate most. The hype season is in hyperactive hyper-drive for all 32 teams. And there's little but hype to report these days. As one who was in marketing for years, it's easy to spot, and to become cynical observing.

Before you all rush off to buy jerseys and season tickets...some advice: We'll be lucky to go 7-10. Sorry to say.

I feel Nadame Tucker (of the MAC) will have a big year learning from Khalil Mack (of the MAC), no one thought Mack would dominate the way he has because he wasn't from the SEC or Big 10 so I hope he takes him under his wing.

Not sure about that last half given he was taken #5 overall in his draft. He was consensus #1 Edge in his draft. Plenty thought he was gonna be great. I was personally wrong after watching the Aztecs play U-BUF in the Potato bowl run down their throat, they took him out of the game with a great plan.

Tucker is a UDFA, I’m not putting that level of expectation on him. I do have hopes for Tucker though - look forward to seeing him against NFL level players and hope he can earn a roster spot. Kennard too - that would transform that unit into a young up-and-coming foundation for the future.

I see it differently......We'll be lucky to go 12-5. Your 2 cents......my 2 cents.......that's why I love this place.
