IN ROMANS OFFENSE LAST SEASON JUSTIN HERBERT WAS HIT 129 TIMES!

IN MCDANIEL'S OFFENSE LAST SEASON TAGOVAILOA WAS HIT 44 TIMES!

This is the thought for the day!
How did those 2 guys feel about the Chargers FA so far?

They are regarding things to soon! and incorrectly believing Starnge and Penning were signed by Hortiz to be our two starting OG's when in reality they were both signed for depth. Watch after the draft and if we sign Wyatt what they'll be saying.

It didn't hurt that Tua was benched for Ewers the last 3rd of the season 😉

But your point is well taken. We know that Mike's system will be far better for Herbert in that regard.

Have you got data for previous seasons? I have feeling they need to amend system last year as Tua brain is so close to become jell-o

Tua played in 14 regular season games, Herbert played in 2 more 16 and didn't play in the Denver game!

don't know if the hit total for Herbert included the playoff game?

I don't have it in front of me....may have posted it in the McDaniel thread when he was announced...but a football analyst broke it down and said Tua was hit about the same amount in three seasons worth of games under McDaniel (albeit Tua missed some games) that as Herbert was just last season. Or maybe it was pressures. Either way what Electric G said is valid.
Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

Tua was hit 3.14 times per game, Herbert 7.16 on avg given the hit stats posted.

It's an indication that there will be fewer hits in our new offense. A lot will be different. We can count on that.

That is going to be such a nice change to watch Herbert operate fully

If you watch that play it was a dirty as hit by SJD, payback for his tenure as a Charger and he got penetration inside and launched himself somewhere he had no chance to make a tackle, he went after our best O-lineman and fucked up his leg, SJD is a major piece of shit...
