Yes...he can take snaps like a QB...can you imagine defenses not knowing whether he runs with the ball or hands off to Hampton? Plays will be designed for this Weapon. LOL!Chiefs won the Superbowl with 10 Rookies....

Not sure he isnt going to do that in the NFL,.... in his rookie season anyway. Savion Williams is as fast, bigger, had twice the rushes in college and a better 6.2 ypc to his 5.1 and i pictured him doing that, and he said he wanted to play some RB but he has done little thus far as a rookie in Green Bay. Not that he cant do it. Ty Montgomery did it as a WR, and actually was used more as a RB @ 220 lbs but i see Germie more a WR.Originally posted by gzubeck View Post

Savion is 6.4, 222 lbs...Germie is 206 lbs. Deebo also is 220 who ran the ball with McDaniel. In Miami he didnt do that with Waddle or Tyreek. Ran the small RB often lol......so, who knows ! Maybe you are on to something lol...but i wouldnt bet on it.

Edge is light years more important. Edge and OL with the first two picks in no particular order, but forget about any other positions.Originally posted by gzubeck View Post
If all the Guards and all the tackles that we like are off the board at #22 I would look to move down a few spots to draft this guy...I think he will touch the ball at least 10 times a game and is a playmaker. I think he's gone in the first 40 picks. Dawg player!
Worst case scenario overdraft this guy!
Unless Joe isn’t finished and obtains another starting Edge or OL before or after the draft.

Mack, Donte Jackson, Unc Jefferson, Perryman, Tomlinson, Penning are on one year deals. Pipkens is on a deal that is see how you do in 2026 but no guarantees in 2027Originally posted by Boltnut View PostAnybody interested in CB in Round 2...? Some good ones should be there. Jackson is a free agent after 2026...
Edge, CB, S, LB, IDL, OG and OT. Not to mention the Chargers need a future Center behind Biadasz
So is CB a need more than Edge 3 or OG - probably not. But it would be nice to get the player on the roster this year.

O'Leary likes to attack... blitz LB's... blitz safeties... blitz CB's...Originally posted by Bolt4Knob View Post

Better have some CB's that can cover man...
CB may not be more important than Edge3 or LG right now.
But I'd take an edge in round 1 and an OG in round 3 right now.
1st: Edge Mesidor
2nd: Best available CB
3rd: Best available OG
4th: Best available OC, DT, LB, or safety
6th: Rinse and repeat... BPA
We still have $20+m post draft...Protect the QB
Run the ball
Play great defense

Maybe because I already have KLS as WR #4?Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View PostIf we are down to the Noah Browns and Tim Patricks of the world...how about they just get KLS up to speed and get him out there?
I'm was explicitly talking about Noah, Patrick, etc as WR5Last edited by YAC; 03-22-2026, 05:17 PM.Driving the Nadame Tucker bus.

It’s obvious to everyone we need at least a couple more OL and other positions like CB, DT, LB, S…probably WR.
But Edge stands out to me as to where we need a starting caliber IMPACT player versus the other positions where a moderately good player will be sufficient.
Mesidor is interesting but he’s 25 already and had foot injuries. Good chance he will be available to us because of that.

Chargers could trade for Robert Hunt, OG Panthers. Could be a post June 1st trade. He played his best football under McD at Miami. He hasn't lived up to his 5yr/100m dollar deal with the Panthers. My final Mock:
1) Woods, Peter- DT/Clemson
2) Pregnon, Emmanuel- OG/Oregon
3) Moore, Derrick- EDGE/Michigan
4) Demmings, Charlie- CB/S. F. Austin
6) Klein, Marlin- TE/Michigan

Too much risk for my blood, leaving Herbert's protection to hoping round 3 of a draft falls your way and you get a day 1 starter at guard with the 86th pickOriginally posted by Boltnut View Post

Rather just take Keenan back then, much better than both of those guys....or lets see how Dalevon is progressing at 6'4" 220 and 4.4...or another draft pickOriginally posted by YAC View Post
