What's the forum consensus on Engram vs Andrews?

Mind you I would still draft a TE in the 2nd/3rd round, if it were up to me.

Andrews is a no-brainer if available he would be better fit than Adams to this offence. A true 1A with Ladd 1B

I like Engram he has proven he can move chains. Clear no2 in this offence and under the radar fantasy pick

Would be super happy with Andrews and happy with Engram (but he will ask for too much $$)

For him its Pass The Pipe til you all agree with him. I mean WTH man, he has Kyler Murray, Darnold, Geno and Purdy better than Herbert lol. Not a GM in the league that would take them over Herbert. Probably not half that list.

At worst he would be 10th behind the guys below.
However, IMV Herbert is closer to 5th. Herbert absolutely wins the Superbowl with Eagles. That team dominates the LOS. And has great skills players. Hortiz and Harbaugh are building a LOS team and his first skill player drafted Ladd immediately was the best WR on the team. Another thing to mention, Of the below list how many were playing for their 3rd HC last year?

Of the WRs that are left I think I would prefer they signed Amari Cooper. Kupp is just too big of a risk for me.

If you worried about QJ catching, I saw yesterday that Amari Cooper had 12 drops on 85 targets last season compared to QJ’s 7 on 91 targets. And 51% completion compared to QJ’s 61%. Just something to think about.

I get no big signings...but we arent signing ANYBODY...we still have 25+ roster spots to fill...I wonder if we have a bunch of our old crew on agreements that we kept hush-hush, while we fish behind the scenes, and this evening, once the actual signing period kicks off, we see a flurry of low end contracts to our depth guys? Just curious.

That's got to be the case if he's visited 2 places and walked away unsigned. His agent has got to be gassing him up to think he found they fountain of youth or something.

Im guessing this is a "revolving door" approach to team building...probably will be for a few more years, until this team is filled with players WE drafted, and WE developed...just have to wrap our heads around the new approach...obviously not just a one year strategy to survive cap hell, lol

On Zietler...damn good player...I wanted the interior solved, long term...but...in lieu of that, if we sign him, it lets us kick one of the guard spots down the road a year, helps draft flexibility.

There are some likely post June cuts that will put solid veteran players on the market. Hortiz likely picks up a couple for depth and competition on 90 man roster.
