This! I didn't understand not upgrading either LG or C like they did RG. I think most of us thought they needed to upgrade two of those. See what happens.

Last year we had 3 weak spots..... this year.... maybe 2..... and if Johnson continues to excel at C(based on multiple OL experts, he was great at run and pass blocking in the HOF game).... the snaps will get better, then we are down to one weak spot at LG but we can sign one of the remaining FA OG's who would solidify that spot for a year.....

Well, to put a positive spin on it, it's their second year in the offense which could help? But also Herbert has more weapons and that could help him not hold the ball as long too. plus with the added weapons in the run game and the addition of Becton they should be more effective in the run game which might open some other things up in the pass as defenses might not be able to tee off on them. the failure to pick up stunts and teams getting pressure up the middle with 4 needs to stop...

Yeah, I agree. They should not have let anybody wear Keenan's number once he was gone, it should be retired.
