Per today's The Athletic Football Show, it is expected that more teams will play Three High aka Big Nickel.

Teams will copycat the Cardinals (Budda Baker), the Ravens (Kyle Hamilton), and the Chargers (Derwin James).

I think we keep Mickens AND Jefferson as part of our best 53.

And I think our young weapons and a healthy Herbert are gonna push us on, in spite of OL deficiencies.

I agree. I think we keep 5 safeties and 5 CB's. Both Mickens and Jefferson are better than CB#6... probably better than CB#5.

Colin Cowherd had the Chargers winning the division a month or so ago. Today he doesn't put them in the top ten NFL teams. He has the Broncos at 4 and the Chiefs at 5

Unless I missed a report somewhere, I have never heard a single reference to any body part...or saw any limp or gimp or any favoring body language in Becton, to hint at what ails him...

I think he was overweight, and Ben said "Nope...we put him out there, he's gonna split a hoof..."

I think he has been busy making weight/conditioning...just a suspicion...but makes sense. He has battled weight issues in the past.

I don't. They didn't sit Salyer last year when he came in 35 pounds overweight.

To me, looking at our roster the main story line going into the season is will our Oline be good enough to put us over the top or will it be more of the same? Herbert not having enough time, and the Oline not opening up holes...

Hortiz and Harbaugh seem to think we fixed the running game and WR position and our Oline was fine, minus a OG which they hopefully addressed! We'll know very soon if they were right!
