Sweet...like at 1:47 how Hamp took it inside, instead of taking it outside where he might have been tackled...the defender probably thought he'd go outside where there was plenty of daylight, but he cut inside, causing defender to get juked out of his jock and hit the turf...great vision...love this guy...Originally posted by sonorajim View Post

Good eye, TC. Hampton sees the hole and accelerates through it. No dancing, no wasted movement. He has no fear of contact... as his contact balance is elite. He knows he's powerful enough to run through arm tackles... it's one of the reasons he led (top 3) the nation in yards-after-contact two years in a row. This guy is a Roman/Harbaugh runner.Protect the QB

This song has no shot of ever being a hit.
There is no mention of a dog nor a pickup truck.
So long beloved Rocket Man
You know I was your biggest fan
I helped you move, my pickup truck
You know I care, I give a... lot
You'll be great, I know I'm sure
I'll miss your smell of wet dog fur...
Simple, concise, and all the elements of a sure hit!
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
Let’s win one for Mack.

Trains, mama, and prison are 5 more syllables. That might be impossible for a haiku.Protect the QB

We have to let him interview for an upgrade to HC if the offer is made and he wants the job. We might offer a raise to stay but can't make him take it.Originally posted by SK21209 View Post
Have to hope that he sticks around for at least one more season after this one, but I'm not sure how likely it is. I hate that we may lose Minter before we replace Roman with a better OC.
I know he likes working with Harbaugh and would very much like to win a SB with him.

Minter has the opportunity to bide his time for *just* the right opportunity to present itself. Maybe that happens in the upcoming offseason, and maybe it doesn't. Maybe it takes two or three years for Minter to locate that *right* opportunity, the one that gives him an excellent QB and a legit chance to succeed immediately. Those opportunities don't grow on trees, as Yogi Berra might say.
I don't see Minter as being in any kind of rush. He kicks ass as a d-coordinator, and his stock won't be going down anytime in the foreseeable future.
And depending on when Jim Harbaugh decides to step down from coaching-- after two more seasons? Three?-- Minter's optimal opportunity might be *then*.
A whole lot is yet to be determined, but I personally am not very concerned about the Chargers losing the services of Jesse Minter anytime soon. So many good reasons for him to be patient about moving on to whatever comes next for him.
