One of the most frustrating things ever was watching us play the better playoff teams last season and when we were on Offense, Herbert was running for his life, and when the other team had the ball, their QB would drop back and have time in the pocket on several plays. Are we in for another season of this!

You bring up good points electricgold about depth at OT - which is just another reason why I think Hortiz needs more picks. Now, the situation might not present itself, the right trade might not happen, the talent on the board when picking is too good to pass up. That said - -this team, between starters or contributors needs

You missed my point lol. Our OL was awful after week 4 last season and QJ had a decent year but missed 3 games. Ladds stats suffered as well. Keenan had decent stats but his YPC was a career low due to the OL issues and having to throw him short passes for first downs with at times 1.74 seconds to throw. He had time to throw vs bad defenses like the Bengals, and Cowboys.Originally posted by electricgold View Post

At the very least I think Hortiz had to look at our oline and say to himself this offseason, what if we're in a game and Alt goes down, or Slater doesn't make it through a season? What Olineman can I sign that fits McDaniel's system who could come in and assume the starting role? The Same at OG? I hope the draft works out for us with the Oline and I hope Hortiz doesn't draft an OG in the last round again, and or an OT! At this point I wouldn't put it past him. Fingers crossed we are not done yet with the Oline.Comment

It's a lock that there will be some adds/ changes to OL by the time season practice starts. I expect 1 or 2 from draft, other FAs.
