But again, today the comparison is Jennings or Mooney/3rd

If Salyer signs, or Hand, Hortiz might lose the Zion pick but he keeps the Oweh pick

Looks like the Bears are resigning McFadden.
I thought you were not a big follower of PFF? Now you're using it to make a point? Teller blocking for Sanders and a bunch of bad QB's I reckon his blocking would be sub par?

Teller blocking in McDaniel's system is a different thing? Completely! Edwards not exactly a fit (Why didn't Buffalo want to keep him), Jenkins yes he fits! We'll see how things unfold?

I get it just pondering the Chargers preferences. Are they even interested in Mooney? He has been available all week.

If indeed they are waiting for him to be released, it should happen quickly. If it dont, then he isnt the target thats been rumored.
            We probably sign him.

Well, we need to be happy with that construction of OL.

Then it is Edge in first or we trade back.

              Good point

So my guess is this - they want Salyer or Hand to sign elsewhere to keep the Oweh pick. Hortiz will give up the Zion comp pick IF they can sign Jennings
              otherwise, they will circle back

Speaking of non comp pick affecting signings....is Jonnu on the way to round out the TE room?

Does Mooney project out to be a better WR than Trey Harris or KLS? It’s projecting, I know.
I think they wanted what they considered an “elite” WR.
Pierce. Or Brown. The rest they think already match up to what they currently have on the team. He is pretty fast and productive though..

I think post draft. I mean, Sediq could be there at 22 -- we know he won't be he could be. Kind of makes Jonnu a waste

i can see Joe slowing down if he gets Teller and maybe Edge

I was thinking of LB but with Daiyan, Dye, Wax, Phillips plus Colson - I think he might not be in a rush to sign LB. Now if Colson doesn't show in training camp, sign a vet. Heck, Denzel still might be around

And thats a good point. Tho they also had Flacco. We just dont know how they come up with it.

I dont want to rant but I do not like how they come to their conclusions but it's all we got as ive said that many times.

Ive seen PFF give good grades to our OL during which the game we all saw they stunk. Seen grades that showed Pipkins was our best OL in a game he gave up 2 sacks while we only gave up 3 total. So i dont trust them but again,....its all we got.

Another point, Look at Strange and Pennings grades. Their run blocking is the same (57 to 56.9). Their pass blocking,.... Pennings pass blocking is 11.1 points higher than Strange but Strange's overall score is 1.4 points higher
So yeah, im not a fan and no idea how they concluded that.

I use it because YOU GUYS like it and it registers more than wasting time breaking it down lol. PFF could be better if we knew how they come to their conclusions because its seems really whacky to me. They do not consider schemes, what the plays are or a players responsibilty on a play because they do not know those things even when it says they seperate roles....they dont know their roles. Team schemes have different roles and arent the same. Look at us, we are changing players to fit our offense.

You know how much tape they would have to watch to give each individual a score? They must employ thousands , but no! Yet we get grades the next day for players after Sunday.

                      Well heres sample

Pro Football Focus (PFF) employs over 600 full or part-time analysts who are involved in the process of watching and grading game tape.
                      PFF
Key details regarding PFF's grading team:
                      • Roles: These analysts include data collectors and graders who analyze, on average, over 2,000 grades per game.
                      • Structure: The staff includes former players, coaches, and scouts who review games using all available camera angles, including All-22 coaches' tape.
                      • Training: Less than 10% of these analysts are trained to the level required to grade plays, and only the top 2-3% of analysts act as "senior analysts" to finalize grades.
                      • Staff Source: Many, if not all, full-time data analysts begin as part-time contractors, with a training process that can take several months

Fun signing! I was hoping the Chargers would consider him. One of the few players with Achane like speed.
Keaton Mitchell is really exciting to watch when he’s healthy. Which unfortunately is not too often. But I like it. Good risk vs reward.

Here's something that I just heard on a podcast that I believe all chargers fans should know. I apologize for writing it in all caps but it's an incredible stat!

IN ROMANS OFFENSE LAST SEASON JUSTIN HERBERT WAS HIT 129 TIMES!

IN MCDANIEL'S OFFENSE LAST SEASON TUA TAGOVAILOA WAS HIT 44 TIMES!

This is the thought for the day!
