I did not think so before free agency started but now I do believe WR is in play at 22

If indeed they are waiting for him to be released, it should happen quickly. If it dont, then he isnt the target thats been rumored.

You're probably right! In reality based on how our off season is going so far, I think Harbuagh and Hortiz with McDaniel's input are having a fabulous offseason!

Hortiz and Harbuagh just do things differently. Very methodical and calculated! We freak out when we see the big Free agents signed initially, but as things progress, we start seeing the bigger picture.

We just have to stay relatively healthy in key positions! Please let this be the year we do!

We could have Penn-ing and Teller. And it would take some real magic to make that work

            Prefer him to Clowney.

            Flame away!
At this stage, Id take Clowney over Joey. Either one will have limited snaps.

Of who we didn't sign, what OG would you have preferred who fits our new Oline system? Doesn't Teller check all the boxes in what McDaniel needs from a OG?

Again: Wyatt Teller is considered a highly athletic and dominant offensive lineman, known for his elite strength and mobility as a guard. He demonstrated this athleticism at the 2018 NFL Combine with a top-tier broad jump and fast 3-cone drill time, and he has evolved into a key, physically imposing starter in the NFL

Wait a minute I'm confused, I thought Hortiz made all the decisions.

I think Teller on a 2 year deal will be perfect. I think he will be highly motivated by being on a team that has a chance to win it all.

Go grab Jonathan Allen. I think as a rotational piece, he will be effective.
I'm guessing Cole LG, Teller RG, and Penning will still be used as the heavy OT and back up OG. He was really good in that role last year and I'm sure McD will use him the same way in the run game. They will likely draft another OG in the later rnds as a back up as well, IMHO.

I wanted Edwards or Tevin Jenkins. Teller fits, he just wasnt a top want for me for OG. Teller wasnt dominate last season. He was a little above average. Worse pass blocker than Zion.....per PFF anyway. But imo he is better than Penning and Strange.

Looks like the Bears are resigning McFadden.
