Actually we don't know that and have to wait until Pre-season. We definitely plan on him playing OT. But the reality of it lies in about 6 months time.

We do know that. All the “talk” that you brought up in the first place is not real. They are not moving him inside this season. If he can’t start this season, he either goes on PUP or IR.

Pipkens at LG works for me, as far if Alt or Slater goes down hopefully a trade for a good T from a last place team

Pipkins should stay as the backup RT. He should only be an OG again in case of emergencies. But he can’t play there. Only player worse at that spot is probably Salyer.

Question for you boys.

I have been very much of the opinion that the Chargers need a true starting Mac linebacker to replace Perryman. I have felt Del'Shawn Phillips and Troy Dye are more special teams, role player types. I view Wax as a promising backup at the position. What say you? Do we need a starting Mac LB?

I agree with two points:Slater will start at LT or go on PUP or IR. and We don't know the severity of the injury.

Agreed. After listening to the GAC podcast - I don't think LB is a need today. Like Edge or OG. I can see them seeing how Colson looks in OTA, training camp, along with Max and Phillips - and go from there. And if things are n ot going well, they can than, find a veteran

Granted, in the draft if in the 5th round they have a kid with a 3rd round grade and the talent is too much to pass up, that might happen too

It’s all over the place from fake/clickbait sources. You just decided to post it as “talk” when there is no actual legit source saying that will happen at all.

I think it's so absurd that people are entertaining that idea, but a lot of people seem to be convinced that both Alt and Slater will not be the players that they were before these injuries...I refuse to think that way, it's a choice...

I'd like Rodriguez. Interestingly he actually posted some surprisingly good numbers at the combine. He is both pure athlete and gifted baller.

I'm taking your comment as an agreement that Dye and Phillips aren't ideal candidates to replace Perryman's reps.

Maybe short term to start, but I don't know if they're the answer. I also don't think you can wait around and see if Colson is the answer.
