Pipkins should stay as the backup RT. He should only be an OG again in case of emergencies. But he can’t play there. Only player worse at that spot is probably Salyer.Originally posted by ChargingBolts View Post
Pipkens at LG works for me, as far if Alt or Slater goes down hopefully a trade for a good T from a last place team

I'm a big Wax and they still have to wait and see what they have in Colston.Originally posted by YAC View PostQuestion for you boys.
I have been very much of the opinion that the Chargers need a true starting Mac linebacker to replace Perryman. I have felt Del'Shawn Phillips and Troy Dye are more special teams, role player types. I view Wax as a promising backup at the position. What say you? Do we need a starting Mac LB?
Here are the snap counts for the last part of the season for our ILBs.
InsideLB_LAC.jpg1) Cut Becton, Boz(ret), Dissly, DD, Fisk, and Dupree
2) Re-sign Tart, Hand (4m), Phillips (5m)
3) Sign the ERFA's Williams, Patterson, and Vidal (3m).
4) Sign free agents Cole Strange (OG-1.5 m), Whyatt Teller (OG-10m), Luke Fortner (OC-6.5m), Brunskill (OC-vet min) Leo Chenal (LB-5m), Rashid Shaheed (WR- 14m), Cade Otten (TE-8m) Greg Dulcich (TE-3m), K'Lavon Chaisson (ED 9m), Myers (DT-7.8m), Alec Ingold (FB-6m), Hendrickson (ED-25m), Seumalo (OG-9m), AVT (OG). Jenkins (OG- 12m)

First of all, I didn't bring up the talk, it's all over the place. Secondly as I stated the plan is for him to start at LT. That may or may not happen depending on his health,Originally posted by Xenos View Post
We do know that. All the “talk” that you brought up in the first place is not real. They are not moving him inside this season. If he can’t start this season, he either goes on PUP or IR.
mobility, etc. You are dismissing the possibility of moving him to OG, if he doesn't work out at OT. There is no way for you or anyone to know that. We have to wait until
the season starts. He may even start the season at LT, but given the severity of his injury we don't know how this is going to end.

I agree with two points:Slater will start at LT or go on PUP or IR. and We don't know the severity of the injury.Originally posted by charger1_sj View Post

I do know that he looks happy and moving freely when greeting his friend Biadasz.

Agreed. After listening to the GAC podcast - I don't think LB is a need today. Like Edge or OG. I can see them seeing how Colson looks in OTA, training camp, along with Max and Phillips - and go from there. And if things are n ot going well, they can than, find a veteranOriginally posted by charger1_sj View Post

Granted, in the draft if in the 5th round they have a kid with a 3rd round grade and the talent is too much to pass up, that might happen too

It’s all over the place from fake/clickbait sources. You just decided to post it as “talk” when there is no actual legit source saying that will happen at all.Originally posted by charger1_sj View Post

I am also dismissing the possibility of them moving him to OG this season.

There's a little rumor starting to circulate on X that the Chargers are on the cusp of trading for WR Justin Jefferson this weekend.

is this the latest version of move him to safety?
I think it's so absurd that people are entertaining that idea, but a lot of people seem to be convinced that both Alt and Slater will not be the players that they were before these injuries...I refuse to think that way, it's a choice..."The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post. Just using that tool basically shoots down that trade - well like 99.999999999999% of it not happening

Maybe short term to start, but I don't know if they're the answer. I also don't think you can wait around and see if Colson is the answer.Originally posted by YAC View Post
I'd like Rodriguez. Interestingly he actually posted some surprisingly good numbers at the combine. He is both pure athlete and gifted baller.
I'm taking your comment as an agreement that Dye and Phillips aren't ideal candidates to replace Perryman's reps.
