I predicted 11 or 12 too.Originally posted by Velo View PostIt looks like the Chargers will finish the season 11-7. If they can't improve seeding by beating the Raiders in week 18, I suppose there is a chance Harbaugh will sit the starters. But the Raiders may be motivated to lose anyway if they have a chance at the #1 overall pick.
Let's assume the Chargers beat the Patriots and Raiders and win 11 games. What was your pre-season prediction for wins this season? I predicted 11 or 12.
A lot of guys were betting the under 9.5 early in the off-season.Protect the QB
Run the ball
Play great defense

Jim knocked Payton's 2011 Saints out in the Divisional round, which is still one of the best offenses I've ever seen. That team could have beat the Giants and Patriots that year if not for them having to play against the 49ers.Originally posted by Velo View PostOne last thing before I shut it down for the night. I am continuously blown away by the lack of communication by the interior Fattys. Time after time 2 block 1 while someone else is running free. It's not hard to shout out "I'VE GOT 54, YOU TAKE 99!". It's not supposed to be smoke and mirrors with the OL. It should be "I'm blocking you and there ain't shit you can do about it!"Originally posted by Chargers8491 View Post

In the last 3 games Stone Smartt has 11 catches on 12 targets for 141 yards. Do not stop using Smartt, he has opened up this O a little bit more. I think Dissly, Hurst and Smartt are you starting 3 when Dissly comes back. They can keep working on the blocking with Smartt and Hurst and this TE room can really help them moving forward. Even though Hurst only had 1 catch, it was a tough catch crucial catch at that. I’ll say it again, Herbert is better when he spreads the ball around. 10 different players caught passes last night.

Not sure if Josh Palmer will seek more $$ elsewhere (not really even sure what his market value would be), but I would love for him to return. We still need to add a bona fide WR#1 to this group, but you could do worse than Palmer as your #3/4 depending on what happens to QJ on the depth chart and/or the emergence of BRice.
He's never going to put up spectacular numbers, but he's just a damn solid, dependable player. I feel like championship teams have guys like this on their roster.ESPN Screename: GoBolts02

Palmer would be a solid 3/4 like you say with QJ. But for me WR1 is such a priority, Palmer might find a team elsewhere just because of the team focusing, possibly on WR.Originally posted by Boltx View PostNot sure if Josh Palmer will seek more $$ elsewhere (not really even sure what his market value would be), but I would love for him to return.
