I have read Adams wants to play on the West Coast. I could be wrong - but I think the Rodgers-Adams combo will not happen this year. Adams will have many more opportunities than Rodgers.

I think the Chargers could be in play for Adams. I understand the fit - he would complement Ladd better than just about any WR on the market, aside from Tee Higgins. But after seeing that group yesterday at the combine, that would probably be my first choice. Davante Adams with the Chargers will be a matter of "Dollars and (Does it Truly make) Sense" at those dollars .

I mean, in the NFL we see teams jump from bad to good -- Commanders for instance - but playing for the G-men, not sure about that one. Rodgers will get the Giants to overpay for Adams. Maybe that is what Adams wants a big pay day

But the Niners, Rams or Chargers all seem like better teams to compete this year. Again, its the NFL so who knows

This is the Catch 22 on Davante Adams for me. First off, with Higgins presumably off the market, I do not think there is a better fit across from Ladd McConkey than Adams. That said, like a bit with Mack, what is the structure of the contract for a player of his age.

My preference is still probably drafting somebody from yesterday as I think Adams will cost around 40m/2....

If trading for him, I would give up the Chargers 6th (or lower) if he agrees to a new contract. If released, wouldn't cost anything in the comp pick game which is why not giving up anything higher than a late 6th.
But for the 2025 season alone - Adams would be an ideal fit for Herbert.
