Andrews is a good player though. You are right, Engram is more pure receiving TEOriginally posted by Charge! View Post
you mean trading for Andrews?....I would see Andrews as an Inline TE who can also catch replacing(huge improvement over) Dissley.....Engram and Juwan Johnson are more pure receiving TE's.... Loveland is the ultimate all round TE who can block but is also an elite reciever/playmaker.....

Joel Corry, former agent, put out a list of ten defensive players. Like he has Murphy getting 80/4Originally posted by Jack Burton View Post
Just 28 years old. 50 career sacks.
But he had Mack. 45m, two years, all guaranteed. Which means, Mack would be on the roster for sure in 2026, plus probably a dead cap hit of $8m in 2027
Chargers could offer the Titans a 7th round pick for Landry at $17.5m - and see how he does
I think I like option two better. I just am leery of a two year contract at this time for Mack

Kirk was "released" too before the Texans traded for him.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View Post

Titans might be floating the idea to see if anybody bites. Texans took the known Kirk at $16m for a 7th round pick in 2026
My guess, the Titans would take a 2026 7th for Landry at this time.

The move will create just shy of $11 million in cap space for Tennessee while leaving them with a $13.1 million dead cap charge. The Titans tried to find a trade partner for Landry but couldn’t land any takers because of his contract. The veteran defender had two seasons left on the five-year, $87.5 million contract he signed ahead of the 2022 season. Landry tore his ACL in 2022 but returned to form the following year, logging 10.5 sacks. His sack total took a slight hit last year, falling to nine. Landry will turn 29 years old before the upcoming season but is still an above-average starter at his position. Expect him to have plenty of suitors on the open market.

Both are immediate upgrades with the Chargers.
Mack at 22.5 plus Juwan Johnson at what he made with the Saints would put the combined AAV of 28.5. Granted, listening to a podcast, Guilty as Charged, they think Juwan will get an AAV of $10m+
Andrews at 11 plus Landry at 17.5 - combined AAV of 28.5

Hendrikson or Metcalf in trade.Originally posted by Bolt4Knob View Post
Not sure there is a player the Chargers are looking at that will have an AAV over $30m, let alone $40m. Unless they get Myles Garrett or Micah Parsons.
I forgot about Slater - he might get paid something and get somewhere around 26-28m AAVNow, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
Let’s win one for Mack.
