you mean trading for Andrews?....I would see Andrews as an Inline TE who can also catch replacing(huge improvement over) Dissley.....Engram and Juwan Johnson are more pure receiving TE's.... Loveland is the ultimate all round TE who can block but is also an elite reciever/playmaker.....

Andrews is a good player though. You are right, Engram is more pure receiving TE

But he had Mack. 45m, two years, all guaranteed. Which means, Mack would be on the roster for sure in 2026, plus probably a dead cap hit of $8m in 2027

Both are immediate upgrades with the Chargers.

Not sure there is a player the Chargers are looking at that will have an AAV over $30m, let alone $40m. Unless they get Myles Garrett or Micah Parsons.

I forgot about Slater - he might get paid something and get somewhere around 26-28m AAV
