Brian Thomas, Jr. was the receiver that Joe Hortiz most wanted in the 2024 draft. More than Nabers or Odunze. He has excellent size/speed/power combination, and-- provided that nothing is wrong with him-- he'd be a great fit in the Chargers offense..

I'm seriously beginning to think Hendrickson might be in play for the Chargers especially if they don't bring back Mack and Oweh and they don't re-sign Zion. Kinda feels like Hortiz is going to make a big signing somewhere and guessing it's either going to be ED or maybe CB.
      1) Cut Becton, Boz(ret), Dissly, DD, Fisk, and Dupree
      2) Re-sign Tart, Hand (4m), Phillips (5m)
      3) Sign the ERFA's Williams, Patterson, and Vidal (3m).
      4) Sign free agents Cole Strange (OG-1.5 m), Whyatt Teller (OG-10m), Luke Fortner (OC-6.5m), Brunskill (OC-vet min) Leo Chenal (LB-5m), Rashid Shaheed (WR- 14m), Cade Otten (TE-8m) Greg Dulcich (TE-3m), K'Lavon Chaisson (ED 9m), Myers (DT-7.8m), Alec Ingold (FB-6m), Hendrickson (ED-25m), Seumalo (OG-9m), AVT (OG). Jenkins (OG- 12m)

How funny would be if the Ravens turn around and trade Crosby to the Chargers for the same picks. They help the Chargers out because they know there was no way the Raiders would trade to a divisional rival..lol

Possible, though it’s very possible that room changes. I doubt JP’s contract is guaranteed.

I’d be tempted to take a flier on him.

                I have started my campaign....

                Rank
                12
                Alijah Vera-Tucker
                OG · Age: 27

A borderline Pro Bowl guard when he’s right, Vera-Tucker is coming off a torn triceps suffered just days before the season started. But that's not an injury that is worrisome long-term, so he looks like an outstanding buy-low candidate.

I'm a fan of the idea of signing AVT. And I suspect that AVT is a fan of the idea of signing with the Bolts. Raised in NorCal, went to USC, and would be coming to a team that needs him. Make it happen, Joe.

it is not just the one injury, its something like 3 season ending injuries the last 4 years.
Two torn triceps and an achilles injury, has only made it once beyond week 7 in his NFL career.
                      With Alt/Slater's injury history .... I'd pass.

He will make south of 10 million ...not certain why a bad or good team would want the gamble.

I hope they don't sign AVT. They will have to pay him a lot because he's so good, but they will also have to pay a good backup because they can't count on him to stay healthy.

Signing him is just spending a lot of money to not fill a hole.

No thanks. He's injured more than Slater.
