Yes,.... There are a few LBs worthy for us if we looking for a future starter but I don't see us using a day 1 ,2 or 3 pick on one and from there it gets weak. Stutsman another to like.

Right, so we saddle Herbert with league poor weapons once again and then watch our offense not be good enough to hang with the good teams again like last year.

This offense has no ceiling. After clearly being not good enough last year or explosive enough, we have added a 3.9 yards a carry RB, an average TE, and a declining WR that is rarely healthy.

I refuse to accept the low bar that many here have.

I feel pretty good one of the 3 I mentioned will be there. Higgins is the least likley yes. WR is only one example. If they picked the LB over TreyVon at 55 if he was there for instance that would be weird

Higgins, I like, but I think I like Harris best of all the WR;s in this draft and fits for our team....he has great hands, speed to beat defenses deep, tough, breaks tackles, and is great at winning 50-50 balls....

I have no interest in any of the first round so-so WR's.... Mcmillan is supposed to be the besrt....but publically admitted in an interview that he does not watch film or study..... he would immmediatly be off my list for any good organiztion.... even if yoou thin k that, you dont say it!....cant have people thjat stupind on my team.... let raiders or someone else take that stupid player...

He has way more upside as a back up.
Bigger at 6'4 225. Stronger arm. Youth at age 24.
And with the style the offense wants to play which is run the ball and set up wide open play action, he should be able to get that done. A still young former 1st Rd pick QB as a back up is worth the risk. He shouldn't even see the field. No pressure on him as there was when he was a 1st Rd pick. Joe Hortiz continues to do good work with roster construction.

pretty sure we're on the high end of 1st rounds on the roster.
Ravens also tend to stockpile former 1st rounders.

*IF* Joes Hortiz believes that the Charger's coaching staff can get Trey Lance corrected, then this is a great move. Invest up to three years doing a Darnold project with him, and re-evaluate his progress annually.

His tool set is vastly better than Stick's. With Herb as the unquestioned starter, this could be the right un-pressured environment for Trey Lance to get some things figured out.

NOOOOOOO.... Darnold is the turnover machie that he was in college.... Tre has a connon but zero touch!.... if you are goijng to run an offense like ravense have where if your can run you win but if you cannot run you lose?.....then he fits in ...

Lamar Jackson is a GREAT runner but he sucj=ks at passing because he has litttle touch....and he is not smart....
When its regular season and many teams cannot stop run, he wins.... but in playoffs, you play teams that can stuff the run, so you have toi win passing the ball and he is not good enough....he does not choke...he does the best he can....

Lance is like Jackson... he had a long like 90 yrd run on Chargers but he cannot pass the ball accurately..... JUST LIKE STICK!!!....lol
so you are right if you love stick who has done nothing ion NFL in pre season or reegular season..... Stick cannot hit broad side of barn!!!
