I think that's an instance where we were in the dime. I don't see a need to make him a 3 down LB early on this year TBH. Especially when he's missed so much of camp.

All I know is that they need to put Weddle in the best position to make a play, if that means he takes over the ILB role, so be it. He definitely will have a greater chance to impact the play if it's a short to intermediate designed play.
