I'll be ok with the Raiders in San Diego. I'm not sure if I'll be an overnight fan, but hell, I know more about that team and history than most of their fans. The City and County of San Diego now a free agent for all comers... just make it the right deal.
CHARGERS MOVING TO LA

Lol, being a fan of a team or a brand or a celebrity or anything, does not require a freaking city. You just don't get that do you? I think you don't get that because you're a city's fan much more than a fan of a football team. You basically a city loyalist, lol. That's why you can root for San Diego Raiders, man.
There are millions of football fans who have no team in their city. We will find a team outside of our town to be a fan of. When Brees was drafted by the Chargers, thousands of his fans and Westlake fans become fans of the Chargers. Same goes for LT here. There are plenty of reasons why people become a fans of something, you know?

I've been a San Diego Chargers fan all of my conscious life. Some of my earliest memories are going to games and sitting in the general admission bleachers in the formerly open end of the stadium before I even started elementary school. This sucks. San Diego is a lot more a part of my fandom than the spanii or this current crop of players. I hope they rebrand so that it will be easier to hate the team. I'll still have fondness for most of the current players. I just hope they get traded from the LA Shitshow sooner than later so that I can wish them well.

I'm a out of town fan and will never root for any team in that shithole of a city (LA) Ive been a Charger fan since Balboa Stadium in 1961 and had season tickets until 1978, even while in the Army for six years.
I will root for the Raiders before I root for the LA Spanoooos.

Vina, I understand where you are coming from and I respect it. You have to understand that talking to us city loyal fans right now, is like talking to a drunken buddy who is going through a divorce. When he is ripping on his ex-wife who just left him, it's kind of not cool to say, "I always liked her."

Also read where folks are losing their jobs cuz of the move, can KDNS please spin that for me?Last edited by blueman; 01-12-2017, 12:11 PM.

Really... do you believe that the Charger brass cares about fans? It is lip service. They need customers and people in their seats, and eyeballs on the product. If they found out that the brand hurts them in LA, there is no doubt in my mind they will change it. You will be replaced by someone else watching them.

The Chargers brand are not that bad like some make it out to be. They're not going to hurt LA fans or anything, lol. If anything, the Raiders brand will hurt SD if they move there. When you think of the Raiders, you think of thugs and prisons.
The outlook for the Chargers in 2017 is actually not that dim.
