Yep...a while back, I suggested the "Take it to the Maxx Treatment":

    1. Alt gives Maxx a nice hard punch
    2. Dissley gives Maxx a nice hard chip
    3. McFadden at FB gives Maxx a nice hard block
    4. Send Gus Bus through the hole
    5. Repeat

I'll just take a win too, but.....

If you get a chance like they did, you remember to run that damned score up. Just like they did to us.

If the Raiders come out of the game knowing that they had no hope, no fucking chance at all to win, and go home with that take away, that's what would be satisfying to me, the score could be 24-13 chargers for all I care as long as they know that the game could have gone on for weeks and it wouldn't have fucking mattered and they know that there is no hope, that's the type of victory I want, rip their fucking souls and hearts out, dominate and subjugate and leave a lasting impression...

It's going to be a low scoring game, we have a new offense predicated on time of possession and running the ball and they have a good defense...I want to see Devontae Adams throw a full blown fucking tantrum on the sidelines and then demand to be traded the day after, THAT is the type of win I want...

Last year's LVR weren't good at anything on offense. I don't think they will have a breakout vs Minter and our players.
They were good on D, except below avg vs run.
Nice setup for G-Ro and the run game.
Both teams have changed. But we have a huge investment in running the ball. Show us it's real Roman.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it might be several games (5-6) before this offense starts clicking like it will, even run game needs time to get timing down correctly and it's yet another new offense for these players (FUCK!!) so people need to be patient but they won't be...lot's of fire Greg Roman comments expected...this is a heavily retooled roster both on defense and offense there will be some growing pains, but like with all great coaches, Harbaugh will have them playing their best football towards the second half of the season...by then pre-deadline acquisitions, injuries, and emergent players will have changed the landscape a bit, at that point we'll have a better idea of what this team is capable of and where it's headed...I do expect them to make the playoffs but am unsure of what to expect after that...

You think the Raiders are going to be better than the Chargers to start the season?

Not for a second. Our Rd1 pick will lock down the right side, meanwhile their Rd1 pick hasn’t practiced in several weeks and may have limited role

The Chiefs open the season against the Ravens, host the Bengals in week 2. Two elite teams who have payback motivation against the Chiefs.

The Chargers host the Raiders then travel to Carolina.

If the Chargers win their first two and the Chiefs drop their first two, it will be a great start to the season.

The emphasis on running the ball. Who knows what that’ll be? “Introducing the previously not run heavy 2024 Chargers.” Better have plan B ready just in case.

"Previously not run heavy" was a different team under different coaches. Gus, Dobbins, the C Bozeman previously were run heavy in Baltimore under their previous and current OC Greg Roman. RB Haskins has played for Harbaugh in Mich.

Meanwhile LVR stunk at run D last year. "Plan B" is the Chargers elite QB and his receivers who will come to play. R/ P balance can go either way. No problem.

I think the teams are closer than most Charger fans want to admit and I don't underestimate the impact that AP has had on their culture...right now, the Raiders have a more established defense and YES the Raiders have less talent at QB but they have more talent at WR, WAY more talent at TE, perhaps even better running backs, and their o-line while some might argue is slitghtly inferior to ours could be comparable to ours...

if you guys are expecting a blowout Charger win I would adjust my expectations and then of course they will have home field advantage in our own stadium too...

AP is a position coach who has never been a coordinator or a head coach on any level. He is also fighting personal bankruptcy. I don't dislike AP, but I think he is in way over his head like Staley was.
