The Los Angeles Chargers (3-2) continue on the road in a primetime matchup against the Arizona Cardinals (2-4) in Week 7 at State Farm Stadium.
MATCHUP HISTORY
Sunday's matchup will mark the 16th regular-season matchup between the two teams. The Bolts hold an 11-4 all-time regular season record against the Cardinals, including having won five out of the last six meetings.
The last meeting between these two teams came in Week 12 of the 2022 season in Arizona.
It came down to the end the last time these two teams met up. After scoring a touchdown to get within a point with 15 seconds left, the Chargers called on quarterback Justin Herbert with the game on the line. Herbert would come through, delivering a strike to convert a two-point conversion that gave the Bolts and lead and the 25-24 win.

Chargers top grade defense needs Still, Hart to hold up.
On offense, it would be useful for Smartt, Palmer, JK, Vidal to come up big.

With all our injuries to skill positions on offense...if the running game works, stick with it.
Would be a good week to replicate a Michigan game from 2023 where we walk away with a comfortable win despite only throwing 10 passes lolESPN Screename: GoBolts02

Disciplined pass rush, bottle Murray up, and get your hands up...let the midget try to throw from behind a wall...
Offense? Run it down their throats. Play action will hit big when its there, but keep that clock running...

I think Kimani Vidal is going to be involved in this game.
Ariz is 30th in run defense. Roman is going to try to run it down the Cards' throats. With the WR corps decimated by injury, he is going to go run heavy. Dobbins will get the bulk of carries, but Vidal will get his share.
I'm not sure who is going to play WR tonight. Or if those on the injury report this week are going to be 100 percent. I expect Roman will get Vidal involved as a receiver. We saw his capabilities last week; at Troy he had 92 catches for 700 yds receiving over his 4 seasons.
The rookie could be busy tonight.

I’ve seen the Vidal Pass angle a few times, I support it but just wonder why I havent seen the Dobbins Pass angle? He can catch passes, he’s fast, he’s good?Originally posted by Velo View PostI think Kimani Vidal is going to be involved in this game.

I’d love to see Vidal’s full coming out party tonight … see both RBs gain 75+? How is Slater feeling today? I guess ok, he isnt on the list…

This ESPN+ deal stinks for sure. I bought Sunday Ticket and I still don't get the game? I plunked down $11.99 last night for a one month access to the +. Cancel next week, so it's not a bad deal. Still the NFL needs to cut this crap out.......
GO BOLTS!!!!! 150+ rushing and about 185 from Herbie. 3 D takeaways leading to 14 points by the O. I say 24-13 Bolts! And BTW, thank you Rams!!!

I am lucky enough to have the ESPN/Hulu/Disney package as part of my cellular plan but it really sucks that games are on subscription services for most people.Originally posted by La Costa Boy View PostThis ESPN+ deal stinks for sure. Since the Cards DC knows Chargers WR corp is decimated, they have spent the entire week scheming how to stop Roman’s running plays.
You want to surprise the Cards, you have to throw it because they are going to stack the box and dare Herbert to throw it.
When Cards have the ball, the OC knows Chargers corners have been decimated so Marvin Harrison is going to get targeted every other play if not more. Generational receiver against inexperienced backup rookies….hmmmm…not hard to guess that outcome.
Since the Chargers are so handicapped without WR’s and DB’s I have to favor the Cards in this one. Let’s be real.
