At halftime the refs went into the Bungles locker room and told them, do what you gotta do, we won’t be calling holding on your O line in the second half or PI on your DB’s, we’ll make this a game yet.

Lost confidence in both QJ and Palmer

And Herbert to play better than he did for most of the second half tonight. It happens, but that really was not good after the outstanding first half he had.

Even if you look at the post game reaction etc...

          Sorry just being honest.
Think about what you are saying. That means every player, coach and employee of the Chargers and Bengals would be in on the conspiracy. So would the entire league. So would the entire NBC Network and the SNF crew. We're talking hundreds if not thousands of people would be a part of conspiracy and they're all keeping it a secret? Do you really believe that?

This tin foil hat, the league is scripted nonsense is beyond belief, IMO.

Same. Conk is the only big time WR this team has. QJ and Palmer can be complimentary WRs down a depth chart. Maybe QJ still has some room to grow. But Palmer has reached his ceiling. QJ doesn't understand how to use his superior physique and athleticism to make plays with a defender on him. It's kind of frustrating to watch.

QJ was fine .... he just couldn't get open deep against Turner.
Turner ran a 4.26 40 at the combine ..... Harbaugh should have known that a fellow wolverine was that fast.
And yet Herbert didn't realize the situation.

Just stupid decisions, bad passes, drops (none by QJ) key blunders up and down the entire offense, bone headed mistakes.

They stopped going to Dissley for some reason ... Cincy schemed to take him away at halftime? That would have been weird.

What really hurt was that they punted each time on downs after going to QJ deep.

He was open on one play on 3rd down in the 4rth in which Herbert wiffed.
                QJ was not the problem.

Herbert seems to have trust in QJ and went to him too many times in the second half.

He should have laid out on the crossing pattern that went off his fingertips. Would have been a first down.

I was thinking about this during the game also. Chark might've been able to get open and make a play during the dry spell in the 2nd half. He has the experience. It might've been a mistake to make him inactive for this game. Reagor was MIA tonight. If they only activate 5 WR against the Ravens, I'd guess Chark will be active and Reagor not.

Maybe they are connecting on those plays in practice. But making those plays against your friendly teammates is different than making them against an opponent who wants to take your head off.
