And yet Herbert didn't realize the situation.
Just stupid decisions, bad passes, drops (none by QJ) key blunders up and down the entire offense, bone headed mistakes.
They stopped going to Dissley for some reason ... Cincy schemed to take him away at halftime? That would have been weird.
What really hurt was that they punted each time on downs after going to QJ deep.
He was open on one play on 3rd down in the 4rth in which Herbert wiffed.
QJ was not the problem.

Same. Conk is the only big time WR this team has. QJ and Palmer can be complimentary WRs down a depth chart. Maybe QJ still has some room to grow. But Palmer has reached his ceiling. QJ doesn't understand how to use his superior physique and athleticism to make plays with a defender on him. It's kind of frustrating to watch.
