While everyone was admiring the fetching and adorable Ms Kay, and she certainly is, I took the time to look up the 2024 season QB ratings to date for Mr Herbert and Sir Burrow.

Herbert: 102
Burrow: 106

Big fucking deal, so Burrow is the greatest thing since sliced potatoes dropped in a deep fryer, lightly salted, and Herbert sucks more than a Dyson?

Herbert is 7-3 and he's real, Burrow is 4-7 and he dies his hair platinum blonde. I'm gonna Ride or Die with The Beast and Jim.

There are a lot of comments about Herbert not getting enough respect, compared to Burrow. Herbert's QBR from this game was 44-ish. Burrow was 82. Herbert simply does not have Burrow's accuracy or ability to read defenses (or manipulate defenses). Burrow had some next level, elite plays in this game that I marveled at. It isn't Higgins, Chase, etc. It is that Burrow has elite passing talent. Herbert does not have Burrow's footwork, his accuracy, or his skill. Can Herbert finally shake some of the poor footwork and poor accuracy issues that have plagued him since Oregon? I'm not sure -- he may just be that QB.

Despite that, what I like about Herbert is that he KNOWS that he was bad in the 2nd half. He knows he was poor and missed throws and reads. That can drive improvement. It is why Harbaugh doesn't need to overcoach him.

Where was Burrow’s amazing footwork, accuracy, or skills in the first half? Or when the Bengals had multiple drives to take the lead in the second? In the end, the better QB won and it’s why Herbert is 2-0 against Burrow.

The good is that it pumps the breaks a bit on Minter for head coach.
Defensive coaching staff did a good job after the Charger D got punched in the chin.

Injuries happening at the worst time for the defense probably didn’t help.

Whoa! That's an interesting stat! Herb is just a different guy. He's finally getting more 'help' in the form of a running game, better protection, and a defense that won't instantly squander whatever lead he can create.

Some posters here in TPB were *passionately* insistent that OF COURSE Dobbins should score the TD, rather than give himself up a foot from the goal line.

Dobbins himself thought NOT scoring was most likely the right move, and apparently wouldn't have considered scoring the TD without the encouragement he got from Bozeman, and the thumbs-up from his position coach.

And-- no offense to anyone here-- but I think the opinions of the football people on this matter are a lot more interesting than the speculation of forum slobs like us. lol

Also, probably a big plus that Khalil Mack got rested. Very prudent move to hold him out.

I’m not sure it is a coincidence that the Bengals offense got rolling after he and Perryman went out.

They're both great quarterbacks who will always be compared because they came from the same draft class. I personally don't get too caught up in the comparison, but I do find it interesting that the team with the elite group of weapons is 4-7 while we, with what many on this forum have said is the worst group of weapons in the NFL, are 7-3. With Tee Higgins probably leaving Cincinnati after this season, I won't be surprised if they spend a first-round pick on another wide receiver. I encourage them to do so, because they won't be able to match up with us on the line of scrimmage as we get more and more physical under Harbaugh and Hortiz.

We're building a team the right way.

Yes, and like I mentioned before...this is likely the "worst" roster Harbaugh and Hortiz will have at their disposal during their time here.
