Im only mentioning Tyrell because he was 6'4", and he did not go fight for the ball and many WRs dont do that and dont do what MW does in that regard. He was also a teammate of MW and it didnt rub off on him. It's just the way he played. How many can you name that are tall and go up for the ball like MW does regardless where they were drafted? MW abuses himself doing it.
Tyrell was our #3 or #4 WR.

I don’t think it was selfish. You see The Bears Kicker missed the field goal. How about the Broncos. Evan Michphearson already missed two. So I’m not for just playing to kick the field goal. The Bills didn’t do it with Allen. You gotta run the ball and score. Score the touchdown when you can.

How much was it due to losing guys in the second half?

I personally don't get too caught up in the comparison, but I do find it interesting that the team with the elite group of weapons is 4-7 while we, with what many on this forum have said is the worst group of weapons in the NFL, are 7-3. With Tee Higgins probably leaving Cincinnati after this season, I won't be surprised if they spend a first-round pick on another wide receiver. I encourage them to do so, because they won't be able to match up with us on the line of scrimmage as we get more and more physical under Harbaugh and Hortiz.

We're building a team the right way.
Bolded is the bottom line and we saw both of them put on a show last night. Very different styles but each special.

He did good with the pressures and hit.

Herbert was also trying to target QJ more in the second half. Roman probably should have avoided trying to have him go vertical so much on the boundary.

Hope to have Perryman, Mack and Hart back for the Ravens.

But some of our premier guys like Bosa and Derwin weren't getting Burrow down. With Hart out we were down to 3rd string and below at CB. Eli Apple who was on the street 2 weeks ago was out there.

Great play design too. But Pipkins taking out 2 defenders is what made that play work.

                  Let’s win one for Mack.

My daughter has that star quality - she's a competitive dancer and while she is adorable in normal life, she just lights up on stage in groups or solo. no, its not just me the proud dad - I swear its her!
My 11 yo granddaughter just won a gold medal in Prague at the World Championships of Tap Dancing. We are very proud of her too.

Herbert simply does not have Burrow's accuracy or ability to read defenses (or manipulate defenses). Burrow had some next level, elite plays in this game that I marveled at. It isn't Higgins, Chase, etc. It is that Burrow has elite passing talent. Herbert does not have Burrow's footwork, his accuracy, or his skill. Can Herbert finally shake some of the poor footwork and poor accuracy issues that have plagued him since Oregon? I'm not sure -- he may just be that QB.

Despite that, what I like about Herbert is that he KNOWS that he was bad in the 2nd half. He knows he was poor and missed throws and reads. That can drive improvement. It is why Harbaugh doesn't need to overcoach him.
You're questioning Herbert's accuracy? Just stop it!!! Tom Brady was a better QB than Burrow because X Y & Z, hopefully Burrow will do this and that, I'm not sure -- he may just be that QB. Herbert and Burrow are top 5 in the league QB's, there is no night and day between them with the QB position as a whole.

I bet Jim Harbaugh would pick Herbert over Burrow 10 out of 10 times. That holds more weight than any point you could ever make to try and denigrate Herbert's game.
