    Sorry, you can't out-quarterback a bad defense.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
    Let’s win one for Mack.

With Tee Higgins probably leaving Cincinnati after this season, I won't be surprised if they spend a first-round pick on another wide receiver. I encourage them to do so, because they won't be able to match up with us on the line of scrimmage as we get more and more physical under Harbaugh and Hortiz.

We're building a team the right way.
Cincy will take that WR when they really need an OT. Build the lines and the wins will come.

See what I posted in the Ravens pregame discussion thread. I made a comprehensive list. Brock Bowers leads all rookies in receiving yards and TDs. Brian Thomas (Jax) is 2nd. Conk is 3rd.

With a bottom 3 defense they probably need some defensive players

Herbert and Burrow are top 5 in the league QB's, there is no night and day between them with the QB position as a whole.

I bet Jim Harbaugh would pick Herbert over Burrow 10 out of 10 times. That holds more weight than any point you could ever make to try and denigrate Herbert's game.

Why he shows up here, God only knows?
He was a no show on the game thread Sunday night until things started going south.

He actively routs against the team ... he was getting all worked up about the Chargers being up by 24 + against Jacksonville two seasons ago.
Fortunately for him, Staley and the Chargers collapsed.

He pretends to be a Charger fan, but he isn't. He was boasting during the off-season on how the Raiders are the better organization and Harbaugh will go there.

Riverwalk is a critical Charger fan; this creep is a troll.

The 3rd and 4th quarters the Chargers just need to execute better. The momentum swing was just players overthinking things, and thinking rather than playing thing going on. Everyone could have played better. But they got their act together in the end, and that is a big step up for the Chargers.

The Chargers need to continue to improve their fundamentals and raise the level and consistency of execution. If they do that, it will overcome those periods when we just can't get it together.

As an NFL analyst, I've spent countless hours poring over game tape, crunching numbers, and dissecting every aspect of football. But there's one concept that's…

But Palmer has reached his ceiling. QJ doesn't understand how to use his superior physique and athleticism to make plays with a defender on him. It's kind of frustrating to watch.
QJ is leaps and bounds better than he was in his rookie season. Giving up on him now would be silly IMO. There were definitely things that Herbert could have done better as well.

That’s not QJ’s forte. At least not yet. Should have used him more for his YAC ability than only as a vertical threat.

He’s basically the modern day Philip Rivers in 2010 and Herbert in 2021.

In 2016 he was Rivers' #1. He led the team with 69 catches, 1059 yds and 7 TDs.

In 2018 he was the #3 WR, behind KA and MW (though not far behind MW). That was Rivers' last Pro Bowl season, the Chargers' best season (12 wins) since the LT era. The offense was a juggernaut with Rivers having those three weapons.
