I was OK with Harbaugh going for his first real trick play of the season. It came up a yard short, but it was attempted at a reasonable part of the field to try. Just gotta practice those.

Yeah. It was in our own territory but Harbaugh really wanted to keep the offense on the field a little longer to at least give the defense some rest.

I’ll say this about Alt you see how the best Quarterback is playing without a left tackle in the NFL Patrick Mahomes. He has no time to throw the ball. If you have no time to throw the ball you can’t score. You can’t give plays time to develop.

so you definitely need the left tackle.

He doesn’t need all day, he just needs receivers who can get separation like McConkey. The other receivers all had one catch each, and for minimal yardage.

How about this, sign Higgins, trade a 2nd for Chris Olave and draft either Warren or Loveland and sign TE Juwan Johnson. There did it for them.

My hunch is we should get a veteran receiver via trade or free agency rather than risk a draft pick. Have got to wonder if Ridley is in the Titans "rebuild" plan and if Higgins is ready to move on from Cincy. Either of those will be a definite improvement.

Ridley just signed a 4 year 92 mil deal w/ the Titans so doubt we are trading for that contract. Titans would also have a big dead cap with it.
The number might change for them next year but they would still have a dead cap number. Right now his cap hit for 2025 is 28 mil.

Slater is our LT, Alt plays RT. KC has some of the same problems we have. No legit #1 WR. They have Kelce and that's about it. They do however
have a better run game than we do and especially now that Dobbins is out.

How many sacks did Alt give up today? Was it one or two?

Couldn't watch the game in my market...but I was watching highlights and on a sack they showed a play where Alt looked to give up the sack. The issue IMO was that Justin (probably unnecessarily) stepped up in the pocket...almost as if he was started to try to take off on a run....and the edge was able to undercut Alt.

Alt had good leverage otherwise.

I can't speak to his performance overall...as I couldn't watch!

Eagles can stuff the run......showing what I have said many times, if you can stuff the run you can beat the Ravens.... Jackson is not a great passer and needs a running game to win..easy to pass when you are running for 150+

Ridley is not worth his contract, rather pay Higgins if that is the choice

Roman is a liability. This offense definitely has personnel issues, but it also just *disappears* for while halves. That’s unacceptable for any NFL offense.

The Ravens O has disappeared in 2 of their last 3 games with far more talent than us. Perhaps they should fire their OC.
