Gus and Vidal are both running well. I'm 50/50 on Q. He has caught TDs. Palmer is OK, right? I think Chark is playing. Reagor, DD ?

Our D is pretty good and KC's O ain't what it used to be. It'll be a good competition.

In total 57 yards on 17 carries. Not nearly good enough to cut it. We need to stay away from penalties, as it put us behind the chains
and forced us to pass instead of sticking with the run. That was a problem against Atlanta.

On the other side you can't argue against our D. But as games against Cincy and Baltimore showed we are not perfect. Atlanta moved
the ball well but 4 interceptions and missed FG killed them.

KC offense is struggling. But Reid figures things out and Mahomes is still a very dangerous QB. Our D has to keep us in this game as
      our offense is sputtering lately.
57/17 = 3.4 ypc. But that includes Herbie's sacks and run - 5 carries for 1 yard. Hassan 1 carry for 0, DD 1 carry for 3, his jet sweeps are almost always week ass lol.

Gus+Vidal gained 52 yards on 10 carries. 5.2 ypc. KC as a good rush defense though.

Chris Jones and the LBs do a good job vs run. KC is tough to run against.
But it wouldn't be much fun if it was easy. Go G-Ro!

I'm not in the fire Roman bandwagon, I think he is working towards the objective... however! looking at the colts.. if we can bring back Shane Steichen I wouldnt mind..... he made Herbert what is him today and I havent seen the same yet from that first year.

I think Herbert would love to have Steichen back, but is Steichen a Harbaugh guy? Besides, I don't really see Steichen getting fired and I don't think they blame Richardson on him. But I could be totally wrong...

              We got this.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
              Let’s win one for Mack.

That's because they had runs of 9, 16 and 12 yards. The rest were 2-3 yards and less. So 3 good runs, 7 not so good. That's called inconsistency.
There was actually 0 carries for 4-5 yards, which is what we need.

More importantly we are missing our best runner for this game against what you point out a very good KC run D. We couldn't pass against some of the worst
pass Ds in the league. Now Ladd may be out. So on paper our offense doesn't look like much of a problem for KC. Our D has had some problems stopping
the run. On 3rd downs Mahomes plays the part of Houdini on the run. This is not going to be a piece of cake for our D.

We hope Roman comes up with something we haven't seen yet. Also keep an eye out on the weather. That may have a significant impact on the game.

On the other hand the Chargers are intense and this looks a lot like a trap game for KC. They pretty much have been skipping along to an 11-1 record.

Early weather forecast is partly cloudy in the 40s with wind between 10-15 mph so should not impact the game if that holds.

whoa, hey now. I didn't say they should go run it 40 times or anything. I just noted the stat you posted was misleading because almost 50% of those "runs" were not the two RBs you were talking about running. over 25% of those "runs" were sacks on Herbie - which isnt a run play at all.

Its normal to have some runs longer and some shorter. I don't know the NFL team that pops a guaranteed 5 yards every run without fail, I have never seen such a team in my 50+ years watching NFL. If you average 5+, you're doing very good, that typically is top 5 or better in the league. There are 4 teams in the league this year > 5.0 ypc. 3 of those are at 5.1.

I have no idea why they only ran their RBs 10 times the entire game last week but thats probably also not the right number. I'd say not 40, not 10, somewhere in the middle. and I don't run them all up the A gap looking for Chris Smith either cuz that dude is really good.

KC games are never a cake walk for any other team. hence 11-1. we have to play better than we played last week, we need to get on them and after them and ball that shit out. LFG!

Maybe he can show QJ how to make a contested catch.
