Is this the worse WR/TE group in the league?.
Could have really used some help.Anything.

Really like this team I wish the offense wasn't so bad.

I might lose my shit if Mack scores a TD.

see that qj?! even our DE/LB pass rush specialist catches with his hands!...and actually catches them!

It's bottom 5 for sure but the fallacy is thinking the team would be as good if we took Nabers instead of Alt.

I definitely think they made the right move.Overall they did a awsome job.
The offense is pretty bad though considering they have Herbert etc.
I know the interior is lacking but I think the lack guys not getting open is what is really holding them back.
The run game is a problem.
There's guys like Matlock and are TEs who are there to help run block but they don't bring much to the table receiving wise but we can't get the run game going so it makes them kinda voidish.
I happy with the results it's just the fact that the defense is playing so well if the offense could just step it up they might have something.
I really dislike the Chiefs and I think the refs make questionable(at best) calls for them which really makes me dislike them.Hope we can score some points Sunday night.

Not to keep beating a dead horse here but Nabers no, Bowers yes.

The Chargers just added WR Laviska Shenault to the PS (and released WR Dez Fitzpatrick). The Seahawks released Shenault after fumbling twice on the same kickoff return against the Jets on Sunday. Shenault has mostly been returning kickoffs for the 'Hawks. He did return one 97 yds for a TD earlier this year.

He was drafted in 2020 by the Jags, and has played for Carolina and Seattle. He had 1200 yds receiving and 5 TD catches in his first two seasons. He's also gotten RB carries during his career. He's a thick dude at 6-1 225 lbs, a Deebo Samuel type build.

He only has 5 targets as a WR this season, he's caught all 5 for 36 yds, no scores. I think screens are his specialty. Who knows if they plan to elevate him from the PS for the Chiefs Sunday.

In other developments, the weather in KC Sun night will be nothing like Buffalo last week. No snow, rain or wind is forecast with temps in the 50s at game time.

In the short term no question our offense would be better with Nabers or Bowers. But we're playing the long game and Rome
wasn't built in one day. Alt is a foundational choice that will anchor an important position for years to come. You have to win
the battles in the trenches if we want a winner. To that end there is work to do on both sides of the football.

                      THIS

Bowers is setting records as a rookie.

And I’m still glad they took Alt.

For all this discussion about how bad the offense is--and it has been bad--I will remind people that the team did have an East coast trip on a short week against a team coming off its bye.

Maybe it's unfair to expect the O to continue to be quite this bad.

Agree! Bowers was the best most dominating receiver in the draft and would have been an amazing target for Herbert, BUT it is clearly obvious how bad we needed Alt.....so Im glad we have him. If Alt was not there, I would have taken Bowers over any of the receivers, especially with this coaching staff.....

My guess is Chargers spent alot of time studying bowers, which put even more eyes on Ladd..... who also is a star,,,,,
