Bosa had several pressures, hits and a sack and a half. Dude had a good game. The offsides was bullshit as he got back before the snap.

Bosa was also double teamed at times...which freed up Mack...who did a nice job containing Homey a few times...

He was grabbing behind his knee and I thought for sure he popped his ham. Got his OTHER ankle twisted up, too. Just keeps going back in the huddle. Kid is tough as nails.

Smart is an awful blocker which I am sure factors in to why he hasn't played much.

I hope they haven't kept him on the bench for blocking reasons for God's sake. Once they were able to move the ball in the air it opened up the run game. He's the best pass catching TE on the team. Play him

I mean, why not? In a 2 point loss, there were plenty of miscues.

He's another guy on the team - praise/criticism when it's warranted. Absolutely the miss to Palmer and a couple other open guys at times hurt us. It doesn't diminish him leading us back in the 2nd half, either.

He's QB1 and the highest paid guy on the team - he's going to get all of it. No immunity.

B. I said that the overthrown pass was on Herbert, when some here were blaming Palmer for not being a 4.3 guy.

As I always say, the offense needs more than blockers. It needs some guys that can get open, that can catch the ball and make plays with the ball.

The obsession about blocking over enough skill for a functioning offense is a bit much at times.

If you are so worried about blocking why dont you replace Trey Pipkins?
