Same here. The allure is quickly fading and it seems more and more fans are realizing it.

I think just the opposite. The Chargers didn't win, but they come closer with every game against the Chiefs. I think they played very well, and I'll put my money on the Chargers to win the next one, might even be in the playoffs.

I know of some people who have stopped watching as well...dunno if it is for the "conspiracy theory" aspect of it, but stopped watching nonetheless.
I missed the Palmer long ball miss. Does anyone have a clip of it? I went to get a Habit burger cuz the wife wanted one.

Small mistakes matter in games against the Chiefs, and you probably could find them in every play. The key for the long view of the team is that there are a lot fewer of them than years previous. I didn't have much confidence of a win in this game, and there was none at the half, but the team turned it around for the best 3rd quarter of the season. Just keep fixing the small problems, address the big ones after the season.

I didn't think they'd win because there were too many key players missing, namely Dobbins and Ladd. If either one of these guys had played, I think the Chargers would've won. "Just keep fixing the small problems, address the big ones after the season." - very well stated.

Herbert has elite arm talent. No doubt about that. But he missed that one and missed it in the Ravens game.

The kid has always had the physical attributes required. I'm not a Herbert hater and I hope he succeeds, but he has not proven he is in the elite conversation at this point when push comes to shove. And it shouldn't be blasphemy to say that as a Charger fan.

Being in the upper tier of QB's requires more than just physical ability.

Having said that, he's having a really great season in terms of protecting the football and avoiding turnovers. I think things will look a lot better on offense next year with a better interior oline and skill player additions.

they need some players who can make plays on offense

Yep...I kind of liked that sweep with both Fisk and Matlock out in front blocking for Vidal...more of that, please...

The Chargers didn't score more points than the Chiefs last night, but I think the Bolts out-played them. One thing that is over-looked is that the Chargers' pass rush beat up Mahomes pretty bad. Mahomes is the ultimate pro and a great player, so a beating like that is never going to cause him to turtle up during a game. But he's going to feel it all week. The Chiefs play in Cleveland next week, I'm predicting the Browns win, and that will be due in large part of ass-whooping the Chargers D front administered onto Mahomes last night.

why did Raegor start the game? so much mind fugging going on in the offensive (Roman's) side of the ball and folks just keep saying nothing about it and talking about lack of talent...too bad Herbert is not more of an asshole, he's got to be frustrate as hell that he has players on the team he could distribute the ball to, but he's being asked to go out there and play with an arm tied behind his back...why is Roman playing mind games with our offensive personnel?

You know , we could have SB winning coaches up and down this team and fans will still complain. Why dont we do this and that you ask? Why dont you ask them to let you be at practices and meetings so you can get an idea because right now you or anyone else hasnt a clue why they doing what they are doing. Just complaining.

Herbert overthrew a wide open reciever that would of been a TD. It happens to EVERY QB in the league! But that was on Herbert so he isnt without fault.

Then i read had It been Chark, it would of been a TD. Bullshit, Herbert has played with Palmer for 4 years now, he has thrown many long passes to him in games and practice. That is not Romans fault. He schemed a guy open, ...Herbert missed him! QJ's TD, he was schemed open and he scored. It was the same play they ran, and he scored on against Carolina.

Are we watching the same game? Herbert should be more of an asshole? How about Harbaugh going over to him with assertion and telling him he HAS to make that throw!

Please guys, lets not be ridiculous. Again, this is the worst team will have going forward and its alot better than it has been. Offense isnt a finished product.

Hope you are right (playoffs) - it would be the least boring scenario for the league and fans (not just saying that as a Charger fan). I'm not holding my breath though

Chark made one catch for nine yards, and there are people on here acting like the coaching staff is holding him back from being an All-Pro.
