Right, which is why it's ridiculous that we aren't anywhere close to a new stadium.

have I been at it that long? it makes the most sense. just the original plan the team submitted was focused wrong and never would fly with voters.

LA would attempt to block any attempt by us to get a team. They think they already own this market when it comes to NBA, NHL and college football. If they grab the Chargers they will market heavily down here but I am one who can never root for any team out of that POS city- and it will be especially the case if they steal my team.

Not quite as embarrassing as a league commissioner saying the NFL wont being the SB back to SD until the stadium is improved....during Super Bowl week.

And crappier in person. The escalator up to the nosebleed section where I was sitting was either really dirty, or really stained. I am in favor of a new stadium in the QC current site AND requiring Spanos to foot the bill on his own. I am not in favor of using any of the public's money on such a project.

And that's about as political a statement as I am going to make about that.
