No Palmer and a gimpy QJ/JK makes me doubtful.

Gonna need an elite performance from the defense. If defense or STs can get a score...it would change things dramatically.
J.K. Dobbins injury came from a dirty fucking Raider trying to injure him.

Man. With this injury list, we are going to need a sequel to the Falcons game. And funny enough, our opponent this weekend wears the same colors.

But a full strength Houston offense would have had a better record and would probably be favored over us. Can't take this game
lightly just because we are favored. Houston's D is legit and they are very good against the pass. We've been living off the pass, so this
        game can get very interesting.

Good news Slater looks like he'll play. But QJ, Dobbins questionable, not good.
Right about 7-4. Woulda, coulda, meh. Our opinions are meaningless to the players and the game.
Hou's avg vs pass is very similar to ours. They're good, so are we. Their offensive stats for the season are very similar to ours.
BUT picks. Stroud 12, herbert 3. Herbert clearly has better ball security.. Red zone D. We allow @ 4 ppg fewer over the season, @ 7 over the last 7 games.
All this means little to the actual game on Sat. if the Chargers play their best game, we should win. If not ? Hou probably will.
The team that makes fewest mistakes gets the W.

          Falcons are black and white,
          Texans are blue and red

Hmmmmm didn't the Chargers play the Texans (in SD) back in 2007 during another big wildfire?

The famous Arnold "Go Chhhaagas, go" game?

            Hmmmmm...

Remember David Tyree who caught the Eli SB pass against his helmet, I think it was a 4th down maybe? He was a nobody his entire career and he became a worldwide phenom with that one catch.
                Reg Season Stats > 6 yrs played, 54 REC, 650 yards ... yawn ...

LFG Charky Chark - one big side-helmet catch, do it!

I saw that clip. I think it was just this year - that on play action -- he is the best in the league.

Chargers really got smart when they started letting Herbert go down the field with 20+ yard throws. Orlovsky mentioned that either under center or in shot gun, Herbert has excelled with the play-action
(just another reason to keep adding to the WR room with a draft pick that can add to what Ladd and QJ do already - that could mean Tee Higgins, but probably not. But also now KA or MW )

the playoffs in all sports - sometimes its that unlikely player who makes one or two plays that just make a difference. Now, of course the Chargers are going to need to protect Herbert, Herbert be on the money, the defense play well but who knwos, maybe Chark or Fehoko come up with a big time catch or something; Zeke the same...

I do think Global Warming has something to do with it. We don’t get Santa Ana’s in January usually September October. 100 miles an hour Santa Ana’s we don’t get that.

Add dry weather drought no rain. That’s what you get.

I think all what you said is true and I believe that. That’s what led to this. And it’s exactly what they did. Pray for everybody and hope they recover and hope it never happens again.
I've seen Santa Anas occur at every time of year in my long life. This event's winds are much stronger than the "typical" SA, but are not strongest ever:

                        Wiki sez:
In early December 2011, the Santa Ana winds were the strongest yet recorded. An atmospheric set-up occurred that allowed the towns of Pasadena and Altadena in the San Gabriel Valley to get whipped by sustained winds at 97 mph (156 km/h), and gusts up to 167 mph (269 km/h).[23] The winds toppled thousands of trees, knocking out power for over a week. Schools were closed, and a "state of emergency" was declared. The winds grounded planes at LAX, destroyed homes, and were even strong enough to snap a concrete stop light from its foundation.[24] The winds also ripped through Mammoth Mountain and parts of Utah. Mammoth Mountain experienced a near-record wind gust of 175 mph (282 km/h), on December 1, 2011.[23]

                          My money is on Fehoko.

Zeke is going to get us a first down and/or a goal line TD that matters.
