If you told me Bozeman was paid off by gamblers to throw the game based on that play, I'd believe you.

I'm going to blame Zion. He had nobody in front of him and went for no one. But neither tried to pick him up. I think Zions awareness is very low. Extremely slow to react but I don't know what Bozeman was doing either.

If Zion can't hang with a solid center, than bring back Michael Schofield to replace him.

It kills me to have to give Zion a 5th year extension. If we had anybody with talent behind him ,he’d be gone. He’s had enough time to learn awareness.

Someone calculated that was 33% of his drop backs. Boze had to move fast to get out of the way. Some quick feet there …

I strongly recommend some of our friends here not read JH2 exit presser comments too literally.

I’m going to blame Bozeman. He didn’t have anyone to block either and he jumped out of the way to clear the path. Dude ran straight over the spot he snapped the ball from.

looking at the alignment:
Houston are offset very wide.
ALT has to take 51 out wide on edge of screen
Sayler takes 96
Bozeman helps Sayler double 96
Zion takes 97.
Even Dobbins could have picked up 97 but he went on his dumpoff route.

This should have been called pre-snap, and i think thats where it all goes wrong. Either Bozeman or Zion dont get the call right. Still gotta wonder what goes thru a linemans head when nobody is infront of him...

seems that way, and you watch a lot of tape. i think getting a strong WR to go with Ladd and QJ will make the group so much better. a good receiver who can play against man coverage or zone. QJ in the right mix becomes a stronger piece. he is strong as hell and can take the hits. Ladd is better at getting separation and then avoiding contact.

I reckon a pass catching TE would open it all up.
