In the goal of getting one player that you think Denver or some team might draft, you might actually be hurting your team in the long run. I don't mind trading up if its the right deal and not just a reaction to Denver
That wasn't my point - I think we should draft him based on need, not to spike the Broncos. The Broncos also need a TE and I expect if he is still on the board when they pick, they will draft him.

If that guy fall to 22, it would beat the Derwin's draft !

Booker is one of the cleaner evaluations in the draft class. He has ideal size, awareness and consistency. In the pass game, he sets with a wide/firm base and easily absorbs power rushers. He keeps his hands tight and when he locks on, he wins. When he’s uncovered, he looks for work and delivers some nasty shots to unsuspecting opponents. In the run game, he can move defenders lined up over his nose and he is excellent on combo blocks up to the second level. He takes great angles, and he gathers and walls off linebackers. Sources at Alabama compare his leadership qualities to those of former Tide star Will Anderson Jr. Booker should be an immediate starter with Pro Bowl potential.

I like Booker a lot more than Zion, who I never quite warmed up to.

But then, I'd be watching Zion at LT at Boston College and had to project his skill set to guard:
something I and Tom Telesco are not very good at.

No, that was the Raiders drafting Brock Bowers.

Hortiz just has to take care of business by drafting players who improve the Chargers. For example, Ladd McConkey yielded a super high return, given his draft slot.

We'll never be able to stop other teams from drafting good players.

1st, release Bosa and Mack. Sign IOL to improve inside pass rush. Move back into early 2nd for extra 2nd pick. Deep edge draft (I am informed) get 1 or 2 QB killers. I am open to a ball hog deep threat WR like Anotion Brown, but mentally stable.

I like the idea of trading Bosa to the 9ers for Deebo.

Oh goody - another draft thread!

Why only those 3 choices? I took Grant … he’s the only one of the three that already knows the system

Loveland makes the biggest impact of the 3 imho.
Justin is fighting one-handed without a starting quality receiving TE.

I really like that BPA guy. No but seriously listening to Hortiz talk about how the draft isn’t for filling holes it’s for long term skill improvement. FA is for filling holes, the draft is for getting players for 4-5 years. This isn’t the MLB where they sign guys to 10 year deals in FA, the draft is the best way to get long term skill increases at darn near any position.
