It was a penalty for a long time. The penalty was called, "Aiding the runner." The referees stopped calling it in 2005, because the NFL thought that it was too difficult to determine if someone was actually pushing the runner. That same year there was a controversy in a game between USC and Notre Dame, as the Trojans won in the final seconds when Reggie Bush pushed Matt Leinart into the end zone during a quarterback sneak on the last play. It was still supposed to be a penalty in college football, but the referees didn't call it. That play went on to be called, "The Bush Push." Lol.

There's a famous picture of Packers fullback Chuck Murcein with his hands raised up as Bart Starr sneaks into the end zone for the winning touchdown against the Cowboys in the 1967 NFL Championship Game. Everyone thought Murcein was signaling touchdown, but he said after the game that he did that because he wanted to make it clear to the referees that he wasn't aiding Starr into the end zone.

      You're not. I don't like it, either.

Really, I don't care one way or another but I thought to add some humor with the Australian Scrum. Just taking it to the extreme for fun and games. Thinking of this tush push just made me think of the scrum and how ridiculous and weirdly cool at the same time it can be. Just the novelty of watching that in a sport just makes me smile.

I think Denver goes defense in the 1st round, at least I hope so.

I want Loveland in the 1st and Skattebo in the 2nd... I'd say 3rd for Skattebo but I don't think he lasts till then.

they might draft another O-lineman in the 1st round...

I don't mean to be a party pooper but these guys are going to build this team from the inside out, and this team still needs a lot of work in the trenches, you can't have a LOS philosophy without spending the draft capital to make it happen...

Is there some PBs who don't want IOL improvement? Taking an OG at 22 depends on a top guy, Membou or Booker being there. Hortiz will take BPA. RB Jeanty or TE Warren or Loveland would bump them. Probably.

Zabel should be there, the two you mentioned should be long gone by then...I'm not thrilled with the idea of Zabel at #22, I feel like he's a guy that would go in the early to mid second round in most years...I've seen people comparing him to Barton from Duke but he is not as athletic or as polished Graham IMO...he doesn't have the anchor that Barton has either....

the problem is Zabel won't be there by pick #55
