Hortiz is getting the Center position improved via greater skillset depth at IOL. We'll end up drafting a C/G prospect along with a swing tackle prospect.

Last season will be the worst o-line for the next 3+ seasons imho.

It only took 6 pages to go from worst signing of all time to brilliant move by Hortiz.

On paper it certainly looks like that but I still have PTSD from Rivers years when every week an offensive lineman would get injured and we had to use backups galore.

Last year was an exception of remarkable durability for starting OL. I hope it continues but it was a rarity historically.

Well to help alleviate the pain. This new regimen heavily invested in the o-line as proven by Harbs stating it then backing up the talk via draft and FA pickups. The last regime was content in the Storm Nortons and the Flukers for multiple seasons.

Our weakness last year was IOL but hey the current regime doesn't care about feelings. You'll get traded/replaced/demoted. The last regime was content in .500 ball. This regime wants to win the division and punish opponents in the process. Harbs' 49er opponents' the week after playing them were so banged up they often loss the next game. Defenses after playing the Chargers could've played 3 days later lol. Easy sacks and the offensive run game was so soft.

Exhibit A that JH2 get it: they didn’t cut Pipkins for cash.

TT never had one single backup OL player that could compete in the NFL in 11 years. He usually also didn’t have 5 opening day starting level players but thats a different story
