Very deflated with the way the draft shaped up. Hampton was probably the best available pick from what ended up there.

But I do think there was a reason they fielded calls alllll the way down to the wire. Sigh.

Im glad it wasnt Taylor. I wanted Henderson if we went RB in the 1st but that was more of a Gibbs vibe to compliment Harris. But Henderson likely not a bellcow and im not sure Gibbs would handle that load either. I just wanted that twitch. But power RB for the long haul is great. He is Michael Turner with Jonathon Taylor pass game traits.

Eddie George (Najee Harris) was the wasted pick. Hampton is a legit RB. Sad thing is, though, we were obviously wanting to trade down.

Since we're pulling out Seinfeld references tonight, I think Joe just fell ass backwards into a good pick ala Kramer fantasy camp.
