This is interesting to me. Do you consider ranking by folks who are not part of the Chargers scouting and management staff to be more accurate regarding team’s needs and makeup? Seriously, I mean no disrespect. I am truly curious about your thoughts.

I've been clear on this in previous posts, no problem with player, problem with the round. There was a C ranked 42 at our 86th pick, could of grabbed the 42nd rated player in the 3rd and the 210th ranked player at our pick of 125 or 158 or 181.

My opinion.

The Bolts are not drafting for BPA. They are drafting for need and might even have their guys slotted for each round. It’s working though. The WR appears underrated and they reached for the DT because they like BIG and he’s BIG. Caldwell looks like a draft and develop guy to me.

I think there is so much more to it than the rankings by analysts. If you really want a player bad, you may have to take him early or he will be gone by your next turn. Kind of reminds me of a guy I play ff with named Eddie. He gets pissed if I take a player in the fantasy draft way earlier than his ADP. He says I throw off his whole plan. haha I beat him every year. Last year my best one was drafting Ladd way earlier than his projected ADP. Worked out really good.

Ranked 42 by who? I've seen him alot lower than that in most places. We are seeing some players go much higher than we were thinking. Happens every year.
Our FO has their own scouts and rankings like all teams do.

Miles Frazier seems like the better OG fit for our scheme. Hopefully we can use some of our 6ths to move up to get him.

He’ll probably get drafted, but it’ll be way late and if he doesn’t show a little humility during TC, he’ll likely get dropped like a hot potato.
