What I couldn't tell was the criteria. Predicted wins this year or wins last year.

To me, the schedule is fine. Late Bye lots of prime time games.

Traveling on charter is not like traveling coach, young team should be able to handle it.

    I'll stick with 10-7
Top 8 hardest schedules are NFCN and NFCE, as they have to play NFCN. Lions aren’t 1st - NYG is. If we are basing SoS on last year’s records that is. Chiefs were around 10 or so, one ahead of LAC.

If its based on predicting this year’s teams - beats me.
Justin Herbert is Elite. Ride or Die ...

But I think 12-5 is a reasonable expectation for us.
Exactly... which is why I'm not neccesarily predicting 9-8 or even 10-7 based solely on SOS.

Vikings had a surprising season... will JJ McCarthy have the year that Sam Darnold had? Will Christian Darrisaw recover from torn ACL and MCL?
Commanders look strong on offense. Can their run defense stop the Chargers' run offense?

Losses to the Chiefs and Eagles seem likely.
Games against the Commanders, Texans, Steelers, Vikings, and Cowboys should be very close.
Even if we lose 3 out 5 to those teams... we are 12-5.

      Run the ball
      Play great defense

I don't think he ever considered Joe Alt or Omarion Hampton as possible picks. I don't think he realizes Ladd McConkey as a pick that rivals Malik Nabers or Brock Bowers... at a much better value. We'll have to wait-and-see about Tre Harris. But Tre Harris fits Greg Roman's philosophy at WR... another concept Popper is having trouble grasping.
we spent our free agent money and top 2 draft picks on offense, which is helping our crown jewel - Herbert. Last year's WR/TE group was just awful (except Ladd).

i think 2025 will be the "no excuses, LFG" year for Herbert - improved weapons at WR and TE, hopefully improved o-line, and continuity for the coaching staff and offensive scheme. plus, the Harbaugh effect (sound decision making on 4th downs, game plans, etc.) will hopefully grow this year.

spending our 3rd and 4th round picks on defense will hopefully help the D. Also, Colson and Eboigbe (sp?) will hopefully surface from last year's draft. as much as i liked Bosa - I think Kennard can beat out his production just by staying healthy.

we just need the D to not fall off from last year. it is the offense that needs to improve, and be able to control the clock and make drives for TD's.

Yeah, let's see if having the same OC for more than 1 year in a row helps Justin Herbert out.

::checks notes:: I believe Justin had Lombo two years in a row.

he also had Staley coming over the top to screw things up during that time. i think coaches generally get over-praised and conversely over-blamed, but Staley truly was a fuck up.

Don't see a road games thread yet. I just bought tickets to Nashville on November 2nd. 50 yard line field level, aisle seats.....25 rows up....right behind the Chargers bench. I think I scored on the price at 300 each WITH all taxes and fees. I guess I should be happy the nearest game to Atlanta is against a lousy team!!! BOO YA!!!!

And this in spite of the fact that the 2024 SB winner was the #2 rushing offense and #2 scoring defense. Which bears a strong resemblance to Harbaugh Ball.

These guys think Harbaugh wants to play 3 runs and a cloud of dust. They must have missed the FA signings after Harris and stopped watching the draft after Round 1. They haven't heard him talk about Herbert. They don't get it. Folks are misreading Harbaugh at their own peril, imo.
