If we're a .500 team, which many had said was about our limit in wins this year, then the 16th ranking is about right. I think we'll end up higher than that in the end, though.

Given the schedule and the way the other teams are panning out I can see us having a chance for something this season

Dallas
Raiders
Colts
Jags
Redskins
Donkos
Fins
Chiefs
bengals
giants
Donkos

Of all those i really only see the Donks as a tough opponent. Chiefs i think we can hang with and Fins i think just havent been exposed yet. Colts and Titans arent power houses nor are the Giants so far. Bengals are beatable but solid enough. I wont say we will win them all but the schedule sure looks more reasonable than when first issued. Given the uncertainty of Pitt and the Ravens we really might have potential to be a wild card if we can pull a few of the tougher games through this year. On any given sunday ....Comment

I took an official stance during the preseason and said six wins. But in terms of probabilities, there is always a range. I would say I think 9 wins with the current club is probably 5-10% likely. Some more injuries are going to come along. We're going to blow some games we should win. (We'll also win some we should lose). AFCW games are always a dogfight regardless of the respective talent levels. I'm not really moving off of my original position of six. I might reallocate my probabilities now that I've seen the team play, but I think we're probably not looking at a .500 team. Could be wrong and hope I amOriginally posted by Beerman View Post

Rarely do teams make it thorough the season unscathed. If we do, we are in the playoffs.
