I took a lot a shit at work because all my co-workers were Drew Brees Fans and I wanted Philip to play in 2004, I liked both guys but PR was my guy from the time I watched him play in that senior bowl, we are so fortunate to have had such fantastic person and player be the head of our team for all of those years. Phillip was one tough dude too...

Going over Rivers' career with the Chargers, I sometimes let the "what he didn't do" aspect move to the forefront, but in-all, I just really appreciate all the passion he showed while playing the game. Sometimes his passion was an overzealous type that, maybe, didn't result in a win, but the passion was always consistent, and that's really how Rivers' career can be summed up. Give it up for 17.

He was the best trash talker without ever saying a cuss word in the history of the game. Players on the other teams have said they tried to get him to cuss but Dad Gum it he would not do it.

Rivers is a class act and the type of player you want representing your team and community.

It’s not as easy as it looks with all that fame and fortune.

I remember that ... their lil table on the field. classic Phil!

Thank you Phil, you gave 1000% every second of every day to the Chargers (when not making kids) - forever appreciative.

"The amount of respect I have for him as a teammate, quarterback, leader, father....He's the example of what every quarterback should look to be."- Justin Herbert

As far as I have heard these 2 QB's have never met........
