Chargers alternates putting up 34. Can’t even remember when that last happened. Chargers preseason entertaining, finally. Been an evaluating talent snore fest for awhile, especially at the backup QB position.

Boze looked good at LG with some run plays

DaShawn Hand held double teams well.
Salyer performed well at RG. He wasn't exactly dominant, but he got the job done.

Chargers drafted an OT this draft, and want to move him to guard.
This guy will not play much at all, if the coaching staff can help it.

He'll need a year or two to develop, and that's what they will do with him.
Not break his spirit in year one, like Staley/Lynn/McCoy might do, with TT/little John egging them on.

This is a real professional group we got, up and down the entire organization ..... finally.

I've been a Chargers fan for a long time and can't remember when the Chargers had this good of depth. Maybe one of you can refresh my memory.
early in the AJ Smith era our #4 pass rusher was Philips and our #3 running back was Sproles, those teams were loaded with depth and they had more star power too, problem was AJ was still locked into the mindset of the early 1980s before free agency, so instead of approaching the roster like it constantly needed to be turned over and reinvigorated he felt satisfied with what he had built...

They pulled Salyer once and it wasn't a good look for him, it's probably one of the reasons he might not beat out Zion for LG...this staff is serious about run blocking, so even if Salyer is a better pass blocker he might have to back up Johnson...

KLS already looking dominant against non-starters and with Trey Lance.

Zion had a couple early bad snaps. And his sample size is small so his percentage of bad snaps was high! And I know that the number one job of the center is a clean snap. But it is his first time playing any game at center (he practiced center some at Sr Bowl but did not play there). Other than those snaps, did you guys see missed assignments or him getting pushed around? I was only half watching because it is preseason

The Lions only played their scrubs, but KLS looked like the best player on the field against them, which is what you want to see.

I recorded the game and I am watching it right now. It wasn't pretty, but it was effective. That's all you need. He doesn't have to destroy his opponent, he just has to prevent him from making the play. Meanwhile Zion will absolutely destroy his opponent on one play, then let him run right by him the next. Salyer also did a better job of bullying his opponents on run plays than I realized when I watched it live.
