I really don't see how Drew Allar is a first-round quarterback at all. Same with Garrett Nussmeier. This is supposed to be a great quarterback class? I don't think either of them is better than Carson Beck.

Kirby Smart blew the game for Georgia against Alabama. Should have kicked a field goal to tie it in the fourth quarter, but if he really wanted to go for it I don't know why his offensive coordinator chose to give it to Cash Jones on fourth and short. His freshman running back Chauncey Bowens is a bull at 5-11, 225 pounds, and he averaged over ten yards a carry in the game. Georgia also has the experienced 5-10, 210-pound Nate Frazier for a situation like that. Why give it to Jones, who's 182 pounds and had only 27 yards on 14 carries last year and has seven yards on three carries so far this season?
On the other hand, Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson looks like he's bounced back from a tough start. I think he could be a good prospect for the 2027 NFL Draft.Comment

I didnt watch Bama vs Georgia....and was switching back and forth from Oregon vs Penn st to the Padres game. Still in a baseball mode til they are out.
Penn st.....Sutton was just OK.,...Has he had a sack since week 1?....Singleton wasnt good. Allar im not high on. Their LB Campbell had a good game
Wasnt paying much attention to anyone in particular on Oregon though the Hawaii guy ( another tough name to pronounce.. Teitum Tuioti )stood out a little as well as one of their LBs.Comment

Matayo U. Looks good, just not that explosive. He has the frame and size to drop 5-10 lbs to get that explosiveness though. I believe he plays at 270 lbs. If he can get between 260-265 lbs, that would bode well for him.
That being said, he’d probably be a good late 1st early 2nd. I might rather have Tyreek Sapp with that pick though.Comment
