That can work the other way, though. If a team has one player left on their board who they feel is a first round talent and they are 5-10 picks away, it might be worth it to move up and get them. In a more loaded class, maybe they sit and pick.

LOL good comeback for your boy!Originally posted by Lone Bolt View PostBench results for oline finally out...Trey Zuhn tops the list with 33...and listed at C? Hmmm...6th round developmental, and versatile, backup?
"Tiny" Parker Brailsford among the best with 27 reps...Lew hasnt been laying around on the couch....31 reps...
All centers aside I believe Connor Lew is the future Pro Bowler and if it were not for his injury he is easily top center in this draft. Stong, athletic and smart...this is a line commander

Jason Kelce played at 6-3, 306#. Aaron Brewer is 6-1 7/8, 295#. That's 2-3 inches of difference from Molk, who was 6-0. Brewer is a rare exception, I'll give u that...but generally, players at C tend to average least 6-4 and over 300#.Originally posted by DerwinBosa View Post
Not sure that really helps your argument when Jason Kelce and Aaron Brewer were two examples of smaller centers who have played well in the NFL. In Kelce's case, he was a six-time All-Pro who will very likely be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Another example is Weston Ritchburg, a 6-4, 290-pound center who played six years in the NFL and started for the 2019 49ers team that made the Super Bowl (Mike McDaniel was the run game coordinator for that team). The Rams' current center, Coleman Shelton, is 6-5, 285 pounds.
Also not sure Molk being 6-0, 298 pounds was really his problem. He could have just not been good enough. Telesco picked the 6-3, 310-pound Chris Watt in the third round in 2014. He started five games at center his rookie year and sucked. He played 17 games for us, started eight, and didn't play a game in the NFL after 2015. Should we say he didn't make it because he was too big?

Disregard bench press numbers when they have short arms. Molk among others who didn’t make it were all time top ten combine.

Tacario Davis * Fast, but took forever to do his 40. Really narrow upright base on the line. Kinda slow on the back pedal. Not natural opening up the hips.
His stance he’s too high. He screams zone corner, looking to prevent. Kinda shaky flipping. Looks way better in terms of speed than quickness.
Taking some extra gathers on this box drill to collect himself. Faster than quick. Long though.
Another guy. Screwed up gauntlet instructions. Then went dirt slow. His gauntlet was so bad that they made him do it again. Still couldn’t catch a damn thing the second time.Daylen Everette * Pretty decent on the line drill. Stayed straight with some tempo. He flips well, and it’s a boom, no hesitation.
Looks really good flipping around and high pointing. Easy money tracking and catching the ball.
Rocking this W drill. Back foot firing instead of getting stuff, and there’s just reallyhigh pace with everything he’s doing.
His stop/starts are really good. Heads up box drill cuts off here with commercials, so missed a bunch of the group. Nothing I can do from at home.
Flawless gauntlet. Rewind it and watch it back. Bet it looks better than several receivers when it’s their turn.Colton Hood * Looks kinda weird doing the line drill. It’s a mix of hunch back while peaking over the shoulder. Feet are going alright, but he’s not really compact either. Attacks the ball well, but he’s not even remotely straight on the line.
Had to redo the high point. Not loving the way he’s bending. Guy’s eyes want to eat dirt. Tracking fine, but not flipping fine.
It’s cool that the back foot isn’t getting stuck on the W, but we may have a real issue here with the back the way he’s moving.
Someone gotta have a serious talk with him. Is he really this much of a back bender? His feet are fine, and he’s catching it more than fine.LB CJ Allen, LT Caleb Lomu, OC Parker Brailsford, RB Demond Claiborne, TE Justin Joly, NT Dontay Corleone, OC Bryce Foster, CB Josh Moten, LB Eric Gentry

David Igbinosun * Line drill was solid. Trying to guess a bit, but he’s moving at a nice pace. Bit spazzy, but he’s flowing with speed on this.
He’s a tweaker, but he’s at least doing it with pace. W drill was fine. Everything he does looks the same. Got some intensity about him, but he looks like such a tweaker. And I say that as in he’s not performing bad at all. You can just see it.
Guy was a mess in the guantlet. I should have seen it coming. Nobody swerved worse than he did. Makes sense given what we know about him being overly grabby.Chris Johnson * Solid line drill. Did a better job than most, staying low. Bending the knees well and flipping. Second attempt, same thing. Doing a very good job staying low. He’s nailing this line drill.
Like that his arms are in rhythm. Too bad he dropped the high point.
Rocking everything. Win on the W.
Had a bit of a slide on the Teryl Austin, but he’s doing well.
Dangerous gauntlet, very well done.
Credit to him for benching a really good number.Malik Muhammad * Getting yelled at on the line “gotta run”. They’re right too. Not going fast enough, but he’s staying straight. Kinda slow. The pace needs to pick up when he’s doing this.
High point was fine, but he’s going so damn slow. Hard to think about anything else watching him. molasses mode on this stuff.
W drill same thing. God he looks so slow doing this stuff. Couldn’t sink his hips on the W either.
There’s nothing else to say. Slug mode gotta go. It’s hard to say anything other than the same thing. Sure, he’s kinda efficient doing the job, but he’s not moving at a high pace. Whatever his GPS numbers are, I bet they’re bad.
Smooth gauntlet. Best part of his drill.LB CJ Allen, LT Caleb Lomu, OC Parker Brailsford, RB Demond Claiborne, TE Justin Joly, NT Dontay Corleone, OC Bryce Foster, CB Josh Moten, LB Eric Gentry
