Julian Neal * Swerving. Not going fast enough. Far from ideal kinda slug mode. Looks like a normal person, no freak.

Played the ball like trash with it in the air. Second one same thing like he was catching a punt.

Yelled at on the W for lining up wrong. Really bad too. Had a stumble. Took forever on the stop/starts. Not seeing it at all.

Teryl Austin Drill couldn’t keep his feet under him at all. He’s performing like garbage. Second Austin drill fell again. It’s borderline comical how many times he’s losing his footing.
D'Angelo Ponds * Did not run. Serious leap numbers. Fantastic line drill. Exactly what you want. Low. Can bend. Shifts with pace. Excellent stuff. He’s the best doing this drill. I’ll take his line drill over anyone.

Dropped the high point, but he’s all over this movement stuff. Did catch the second one. Gear is a yes for me.

Wouldn’t say his W drill was lightning fast, but got the job done.

Stops and a dime and goes. No hitches or pauses. Nailing this Austin drill. No pauses at all.

Gauntlet probably his worst drill. Didn’t attack the ball and had to restart, but I’m nitpicking because he’s been awesome.
Toriano Pride Jr. * Best run time of the group. Flips the hips well. Eyes level really good. Definitely a real athlete.

Just don’t have any real complaints. Outside of that, he’s not catching it well.

Real acceleration. Can’t catch a lick. I mean, the drops are hilarious.

    Feet are fast.

Hips got a bit exposed in the second Austin drill. Couldn’t quite open up. They’re not bad hips, but there’s some slight tightness there the more I watch.
Avieon Terrell * Did not run. Nice bench number. Really nice job keeping his ass down. Flipping the hips great. Moving down this line with pace. Eye level is there.

Just damn good flipping around. High pointed for a catch. Compact and flying.

Had a bit of a stumble on the W. You can tell he’s trying to go as fast as he can, and it backfired that time, but he looks really good.

His transitions are nice and catching it well. Nailing this stuff.

    Did not do the gauntlet.

A scouting report on Brailsford only begins with a tape measure and scale. His predraft profile is very similar to Linderbaum's.

There are minuses but there are also pluses. Brailsford's urgency and hyper-competitiveness helps him be more than the sum of the parts. It also gets him into trouble with penalties.

There is excellence in space. This is a zone center. No more. No less.

The size issue is counterbalanced by technique. Brailsford ends up being the lower man and creates leverage by getting underneath defenders.

So we have a prospect who is only a few pounds lighter than Linderbaum or Brewer.
As a value pick who might be a complete winning play for us, why not draft him in the midrounds and resign Andre ?

wu is familar with the fairytale about the three bears. Proctor is too big. And Brailsford is too small. Which IOL is "just right?"

There are many that are shorter. 6'2" range. Linderbaum is 6'2".

Hardwick was always below 300. Said he had a hard time keeping weight on and lost it during the season. Now we know why he slimmed down so fast when he retired.

Connor McGovern was doing a podcast with Eric Woods (former Bills C) and right off McGovern mentions he lost 12 pounds immediately after the season (down to 318??? it's what he said, but I think he might mean from 318). Says he loses 25-30 lbs every offseason, then puts it back on as the offseason goes. about 1:30 in (

These college kids are trying to do something to impress, so they are dropping bad weight and trying to run well. Then put some of it back on in the weight room as they get closer to the draft.

And as far as Molk goes, he played for the Eagles for a couple of seasons after us.

i remember Hardwick losing weight down to 250 - 260 pounds at the end of the 2005 season .... that and the injury to Oben, along with the 4 games against teams coming off a bye, the opening game Gates missed against Dallas due to a contract issue, the home game against Miami with half the squad hit with the flu, and the 5 east coast trips, helped tank the season.

That was a super bowl worthy team.

I have never been a study/watch the combine guy. However I did glance at the results daily, reading stuff that might have jumped out, etc. As I looked thru the IOL test results, the thing that struck me was that Brailsford was near the top of just about every list for each drill. He seems to have tested well in all aspects. Another was just confirming that Sadiq is a monster and that he positioned himself to be gone by the time our pick comes up. IF he is there then I could not imagine us passing him by. Team him up with Gadsden? WHEW!!?!!

The last guy that caught my attention was WR Ted Hurst from Georgia Southern. I saw a vid clip of an absolute sick catch he made on a deep ball. Looking over his inside shoulder for the ball, he spun and ran backwards for a step or two and then flipped back and made an insane finger tip catch off his outside shoulder. He never lost sight of the ball, fluid adjustments and boom, caught the ball. He is ranked somewhere at 156. He stands 6-3 and weighed 206. A late round snatch?........I dunno how they feel about another WR, but this sammy small school has skills.

I am intrigued to see what we do pre FA this week with releases, etc. and then once FA begins. I am hoping we plug some holes outright so we can cross them off the need/want list.

If we don't get Linderbaum, Logan Jones looks like a pretty good option at center? Don't know how close he is to being a starter, but he's only given up one sack in 2 years.

Jack Endries * Blocking was alright. Looks fine in general. Not seeing any crazy burst or pop with anything.

Very good gauntlet. Straight and smooth. No issues at all. Second time, damn good too.
John Michael Gyllenborg * Bad tracking over the shoulder. Way too high on the sled. He’s moving it, but really hard time staying low.

Gauntlet was pretty good. Held the line and decent pace. Not holding the line as well the second time.
Justin Joly * Did not run. He’s a receiver first guy. Blocking rep was so so on the sled.

Really nice gauntlet. Not totally straight, but flying through it well. Should have run because he’s running fine on this.
Will Kacmarek * Pretty good on the sled. Probably moved it the most of the group.

Too slow on the guantlet. Dropped the last one, and his pace was bad. Too many decelerations. Second attempt not on the line.
Jaren Kanak * Really nice job moving the sled. Sweet hands.

Beautiful guantlet. Right down the line, and the hands are super confident. Attacking the ball with ease. The hands are so sweet. Rocked the second one too.
Max Klare * Did not run. Decent on the sled.

Pretty solid gauntlet. Straight with pace. Second attempt was good too.
Marlin Klein * Lost against the sled. Got twisted up, and it went out to the side. Didn’t see a ton of power either.

Nice gauntlet. No real mistakes. B-level pace. Two drops the second time.
Tanner Koziol * Ran about exactly what I thought he was going to. So, so on the sled.

Not flying on the gauntlet, but catching the ball well and staying straight. Second time is good. Hands reliable.
RJ Maryland * Looks easy on the over the shoulder. Got too high on the sled. Bad leverage on it.

Good gauntlet. Could attack the ball more, but the pace is there, and he’s on the line. Gauntlet looks easy.
Lake McRee * Did not run or test. Moved the sled more than fine.

Gauntlet was fine. Pace was ok. Straight and catching it well, though. Swerving a bit the second time, but catching very well.
Eli Raridon * Coach yelling at him to stay lower on the sled. Moved it ok, but definitely too upright.

Gauntlet was shaky. Swerving really badly compared to the others. Not the best pure hands catcher either. had to restart the second time. Hands are good, not great.
Sam Roush * Horrible on the sled. Looked like he had a dump in his pants trying to move it. Hands out of control and lost consistency. For a guy who is supposed to be a blocker, it was a rough rep to watch.

Slow gauntlet. Kinda stayed on the line with no drops, but he’s way too slow doing it. Had a drop second go around and still slow.
Bauer Sharp * Really nice on the sled. Feet churning really well on it.

Pretty nice guantlet. Solid pace doing it. Really doing nice catching it.

Bud Clark * Ran fast. Flipping the hips more than fine. Confident hands.

Slight pause in the deceleration on the W, but really good stuff.

Fell over in the Teryl Austin, but it’s not like he’s flawed because of how he’s moving. Just not a freak in the twitch. He’s catching it very well.

Some stumbles in the box. Just not an elite athlete, but a good athlete.

Sweet hands on the guantlet. Has caught pretty much everything. Really great work out.
AJ Haulcy * Dude looks yoked out of his mind. Serious biceps. Very good job staying low. Like his feet too.

Bottle rocket. Hands in rhythm. Body control is good.

Rocked the W. No bad pauses.

Dude is a ball of muscle. Compact. No issues in the Austin drill. Smooth and went right through easy.

Box drill very good. His ability to stay low just sticks.

Gauntlet was excellent and caught everything. The build and the skills here feel like they will translate into something.
Jalon Kilgore * Really solid eye level. Bends great. Play speed is there. Fast too.

Could get a tad lower, but he’s moving well and high pointing.

Would love if he could get lower, but stop/starts good on the W.

Lost footing in the Austin. He’s good, but it was a result of not being low enough. Plant leg got stiff and stuck. Overall, pretty good day, though.
Emmanuel McNeil Warren * Hype looks silly compared to what I’m seeing. Way too upright on the backpedal. Not blazing fast. Drifting side to side. Body not compact. Got yelled at for not finishing through the line.

Not seeing it. Drifting bad. Way too high. Looks like he’s going to tip over.

During the W he fell on the second cone. Rest of the drill was fine.

Had a hitch trying to open up in the Austin. Feet got through it fine, but he’s not a freak. Far from it.

Box drill was solid. No complaints there. This one sure feels like a ******** con job.
