I finally got around to watching the interception as you don't get the same perspective from the stands at the game. It was a hell of a guess and catch by Cushing. After all the talk about Woodhead not looking for the ball and how it being so far behind him he couldn't catch it - gotta disagree with that. It was behind him but he was twisting his body to catch it before the pick. As for staring down the receiver - how much time does a QB have to scan the field when a rusher is coming in untouched at him? It was a killer interception for sure, but it wasn't even close to being as bad as something like the pick against Tampa last year. Gotta agree with Dilfer on this one.

Well, I recall seeing both Floyd and VB make some great catches in that game, or maybe I am just being too positive. I'd have to say that on quite a few plays the only one on the field with a chance to catch the ball was a gopher.

We don't suck as bad as we were expected to, Houston is a playoff caliber team (some pundits say Superbowl caliber team) with the best D coordinator in the league. The fact that we beat the spread and almost beat them straight up, I'm optimistic.

Granted we are the underdog again this week, as our Chargers will not be very Chipper at 10 am ... but we just have to beat all the weak teams (like Marty did) and break even with playoff teams to make it into the playoffs ...

This shouldn't be the case this year. They were on the practice field at 8 am this TC for the most part. They are also flying on Friday vs. Saturday so they will have that extra day to acclimate.

Where is this coming from? Only knock on him has always been that he's injury prone. Solid #2 guy IMO.
