    Undercover 49ers

This seems like some type of entrapment to me, but I think it may help with the amount of violence we've been seeing lately in stadiums. What are your thoughts?

Must be because of how intense the SF/SEA rivalry has gotten. Because as far as stadiums go, Seattle's was really laid back, with the Seahawks fans being quite hospitable, when I went to see the Chargers play there in 2010.

I think it's a great idea, entrapment or not. All stadiums should do it. Visiting teams' fans shouldn't have to worry about being harassed or bullied (or assaulted) just because they root for the other team. That's BS.

How is this entrapment? This is nothing but a fantastic idea IMO...

In all my years at the Q watching Charger games, I tend to get more pissed at idiot, amatuer Charger fans then I do opposing fans. Either I have been lucky or I just "get" the opposing fan, but minus a few tool bags here and there, my expierence has been super easy at the Q...

It's not entrapment. That would imply someone wearing the other team's jersey is asking for it. I think it's a great idea. Fans traveling to other stadiums shouldn't be in fear of getting jumped or having beer dumped on them.

Just a jersey isn't a sufficient disguise at a Duhs game. They'll need some black fingernail polish, chain mail armor, and a sword +1, +3 vs morons.

So maybe Mathews should use his WOW character in his next line of work?

Only went to one game as a visiting fan. L.A. Coliseum. Got plunked with a pretzel, two hot dogs, and a whole lot of beer. Fun, though. Game was back and forth. Humphries led us to a game-winning Carney field goal at the end. A drunk Raiders fan tried to take a swing at me when I was leaving. But the dude missed and was too drunk to follow me.

Try attending a game in Oakland, Denver or Kansas City. I was nearly killed in Kansas City once.
