Maybe on the 8th or 9th time their RT jumps one second before the snap there might be a false start called? You're telling me there is a chance?

I just didnt jump onto the Chiefs roster sucks party on here.... well because it doesnt,,,, and they are still rightly favored to win the division by anyone and everyone connected to the NFL.

There is one team in this game that needs to prove it can win a big game and it isnt the Chiefs. I can love my team and still recognize the facts. Which are 7 straight losses to the team that has won the last 9 division titles.

Time to put up. Not time to be cocky and trash the best currrent dynasty in the NFL. I try to keep it real.
I'm not one of the guys saying that their roster sucks... it's above average. But the Chiefs real advantage is having Fat Andy and Spags. Harbaugh and Minter ain't bad either... we are allowed to be excited about our own coaches.

The Chiefs are one injury (C. Jones) away from being a poor DL. They are not very deep... and without him, they are below average. I like LB Bolton and NB McDuffie. After that, they're pretty average. Their OT's should worry them. If the refs start throwing flags for false starts (Jawaan)... they'll be in 2nd/3rd and long a lot this year. Their LT hasn't played a snap in a regular game. Their LG had an awful year last year and is taking over for one of the best LG's (Thuney) in thee last 10 years. Their RB's are junk. Their WR's are just OK.... statistically, I think QJ was better than all of them last year.

I think the Chiefs' roster is getting a pass from some of you... while our own roster is getting dumped on.
For everyone worrying about Becton's health... he has played in 35 out of 38 games the last 2 years. Fact.
This is just one example of certain fans focussing only on the negative.
      Protect the QB
      Run the ball
      Play great defense

Any objective observer of the NFL will look at what we did this offseason and say that we improved. The same cannot be said about the Chiefs, who don't appear to be what they were when they last won a Super Bowl (with a team that wasn't as good as their previous championship rosters).

No team in the NFL is flawless. Of course we have weaknesses. Hortiz and Harbaugh aren't playing Madden '26, so they are unable to just fill up the roster with All-Pros at every position. This is the reality of the NFL. But they improved the roster tremendously in the best way that they could this offseason. They also aren't going to add a player they don't think will be an upgrade just so they can say they filled a hole on the roster.

Do people actually think Hortiz and Harbaugh are sitting in an office and saying, "We don't want any offensive linemen who can make this team better."

Chief should always be considered dangerous. They have the best player in the NFL at the most critical position.

Guys, guys, guys, I know you think I’m kidding but Taylor Swift-Kelce is not losing this game. Impossible. Stop even worrying about our OL and their OL and Chris Jones and positional matchups. This game is already decided.

            Focus on week 2.

              Objectively, that's debatable.

I see the Oline as improved. Joe Alt is a better run blocker than Slater. The team will now be able to run left. M. Bectin is a monster with a Super bowl ring. The team can run behind Bectin. Either up the middle or running right will be improved.

I think with bigger RB's in Hampton, Harris, and Haskins the team will be way more consistant in running the ball tight down other teams defenses.

The Oline will benefit from consistently open recievers in McConky and Allen. Plus Disly and Gadsen at TE. Stretch the field with Tre Harris and KLS and we have a much improved Offense.

With also an improved defense this team can beat any team on a given day. Watch and see. I think the winning will start next week against the Cheifs. The the Raiders and then the Broncos. I think the Chargers will win all 3 games.

                  Spot on!

With a crisis of doubt and defeatism percolating through the fan base here, imagining every putz on that roster as dashing movie stars,
this is what any mayor of Flipville should be articulating forcefully,

as opposed to softening blows with silly emoji punctuations in the roll over and rub my belly now mode.

I'd only throw in frog boy with Fat Andy and Spags to make it an evil triumvirate propping the bastards up on that leaky vessel,
and that they've now assembled a team with a lot of breakable parts.

                  Good luck to those bastards!

I'll be glad to see us play. All our fan bubbles don't mean squat. Go Bolts!
Pipkins was not good at RT 2 years ago which is where he will be playing. Becton is not what you think, he's an injury concern and our backups don't
look so hot. Due to Slater being out, our Oline looks worse than last year not better. Really have to see major improvement from Zion and Bozeman
before we decare that we got better.

But he was a solid RT 3 years ago, getting a new contract,
and then was put into a bad situation with Clapp and Salyer to his left.

Popper said that Pip put together a solid final 3 - 4 games to that season,
which curiously was after Staley got axed. Coincidence?

This is getting tiresome from you.

Becton owned Chris Jones's ass the last time they played. Do you honestly think Mike Dana is going to pose a problem this game?
                        I guess so.
