I believe our D is better too.
    So, Let's play! Go Bolts!
The Chargers were without key players in both of those games too. In both games, they couldn't get any run game going. It will be different in Brazil.

not worried ‘bout the either of Mekhi nor Zion against Jones…. they have handled him in the past.

do think starting Boze is a mistake…. would much rather see Johnson there, and w/Salyer next to him.

if we had a decent starting center there, pretty much guarantee our line would be decent.

personal opinion is that both the KC DL & CBs are formidable…. think we’re better than them w/the both of McConk & Keenan, albeit do think we will come up short if we decide to take on their DL all game…. no bueno.

again personal opinion, as think the both of Bradley ‘n Pips are liabilities, and that there is no need to force our hand…. if they turn up the heat w/their pass rush… just work on getting the ball to OH in space.

The last time we beat them was the year when Mahomes said to the guy I'll see when I believe it. That seems like so long ago now. We haven't beaten them at home in forever. The last time was when Andy Reid was in his first year with the Chiefs. Please stop the madness.

We need to become what the Chargers team was to Peyton's Colts......we need the KC equivalent and become their Freddie Kruger.

We had to double team Jones, leaving another DL guy to injure Herbert. Our O line just does not pick up stunts, and blitzes. Herbert
was pressured on 50% of his pass attempts. This was a big problem last year especially because against the better D teams our run game
                failed.

If the run game doesn't get going against KC, then were subject to the same issues. D may keep it close, then comes Mahomes in Q4.

Jones lined up against Pipkens at guard was like a mean little brat pulling off the wings of a butterfly.
Chiefs don't have that luxury this year.

Not certain that I agree with beachcomber that Zion will handle Chris Jones .... but if both guards can handle him, Chris Jones last chance to effect the game will be on the right edge.
Its when he can line up anywhere and creates havoc from all alignements that he disrupts offenses.

This is his 10th season ... 10 seasons playing in the meat grinder on the interior.
The guy is impervious to injury: he's only had 10 games off his entire career, plus 22 playoff games ..... loads of mileage there.

His 31 year old body will wear down during the season more than most

KC played us tough last year and won two close games. I'm not much of a "What if bad stuff happens?" kinda fan. I believe we improved. Improvement guarantees nothing, I realize but does point toward greater success. Mahomes struggled against us last year. I think we turn it up a notch or two.

They beat us by executing more plays where we faltered. Gotta match that in the off season and in practices with better coaching/talent/scouting/etc.
