GrassMaster is a hybrid grass sports playing field surface composed of natural grass combined with artificial fibres. The method was developed and patented by Desso Sports from the Netherlands in 1993. This hybrid grass system is now marketed and further developed by Tarkett Sports after a takeover of Desso Sports and has since been re-branded as GrassMaster.

GrassMaster reinforces a natural grass pitch by vertically inserting 20 million polypropylene (PP) fibres into the soil equally spread over the entire playing field. The 20 cm (7.9 in) long PP fibres are injected by computer-controlled machines, 18 cm (7.1 in) deep so 2 cm (0.8 in) remains above the surface.[1] The PP fibres are inserted in a grid of about 2 cm × 2 cm (0.8 in × 0.8 in). The grass roots entwine with the fibres and grow deeper and wider.[2] The PP fibres above the surface are designed to ensure an even and stable surface. GrassMaster may be installed before seeding, after seeding or on grass sods.[3]

The Chiefs will game plan to stop our run game, because if they don't they will be toast. Last year we averaged 2.29 ypc and 3.7 ypc respectively and lost
both close games. We gained 197 yards through the air in game 1 and 202 yards in game 2. Neither effort was enough to beat the Chiefs. So I respectfully
disagree with you. If we can effectively run the ball we likely win this game. If Harris is able to play that will be a big plus.
QJ is likely out. That leaves Ladd and Allen as the go to guys. I watched
all of the preseason games. Tre Harris and the other WRs do not get separation. We have 4 TE but none are top tier receivers. Due to our O line
issues we may be running more 2 TE sets than normal. In other words our passing game is questionable.

Daniel Popper is out there predicting Omarion Hampton is going to be a top 5 rusher this season. I wish he wouldn't do that. There is so much expectation being piled on Hampton, it makes me a bit uneasy. It creates a lot of pressure on him to perform. I hope Roman starts Najee Harris and gives him the first few carries. If the Chiefs' defense does have success limiting the Chargers' run game early, I hope Roman doesn't give up on it, unless the Chiefs build a big lead, keep giving it to Harris and Hampton, eventually in the 2nd half the dam will crack.

Champions should be expected to embrace and thrive under pressure and expectations.
If a beat-writer's lofty prediction is throwing Hampton off mentally, we officially have a problem.
